I don't understand why Blair is mad at Serena. This show is getting really confusing for me.

The reason why Blair is mad at Serena is because all Serena cares is her work and her new life isn't involving all her old friends (since they were young, Blair, Nate). She screw Nate over due to some job and she worries about keepin her job more than keeping her friendship with Blair and Nate. Serena rather risk it all just to keep that lousy job. Back then they would hang out but now Serena is always working and shutting all her friends out.

I liked this week's ep a lot more than last week =) hehe*
Especially the ending when S and B realized how far they've drifted. I've always been a fan of Blair so I completely agree with her when she says that Serena is stuck in her own world. It's not the fact that she's not growing up, Serena is simply just too stuck up in her own life that she can't see everything else happening around her. Blair on the other hand, is actually trying to move forward and if you ask me, there's a lot of stupid drama everywhere >_<

On another note, I loved the part when Chuck said "...because one day you'll find yourself telling people about Blair Waldorf, the girl who used to be your best friend" =) hehe* totally made me giggle. I think this pretty much sums up how Chuck feels about Blair. He really does expect big things to come from her and he's telling Serena to be careful cuz she has no idea who she's blocking out of her life

I always liked Serena over Blair, so I totally laughed out loud when she got cakefaced. Blair is too control and overly manipulative (although that applies to every character), Blair just does it in such a snobby way. Like she knows what she wants, but she is just rude in getting everything her way. On the other hand, Serena might be a little lost without college etc, but don't we all feel the same at times? I just think Serena is trying to find what she is truly good at, but she just has terrible luck sometimes, meeting stupid people like Casey.

^ I have always been on the opposite side. I like Blair so much better than Serena, because Blair is very open and confident in herself. She knows who she is and if she backstabs you she claims she did. Serena does a lot of the same back handed things Blair does but she tries to hide it under a facade of morality. She only looks after herself, but she always claims another reason for doing so. You think she has changed, but then she goes back to the whole troubled rich girl routine and it gets old.

That being said, neither of them holds a candle to Vanessa's annoying self. That was pretty low about her deciding to sell the story and then mentioning to Nate right before "oh by the way I'm going to sell the hoax story". lol. I see her as an oppurtunist.

Lol! I thought this thread vanished for days. I do HATE vanessa's character very much. Why would she sell it and make Tripp look stupid? I mean she knew that Tripp didn't do the set-up- whether or not the man was fake or real, Tripp was there to save him and jump in the water-Tripp is still a hero and Vanessa is becoming one of those close minded-righteous people plus she USED to date Nate-she could have at least did him a tiny favor, maybe she's still bitter coz Nate dumped her. I just hate her character.

Is it me or do I sense that Tripp and Serena might have something in the future??? I mean Tripp's wife is a b_atch. hmmm... It would be kinda interesting if Serena and Tripp might have something and then Carter would return and she'd be torn between Carter and Tripp.

I love Chuck and Blair but sometimes, Blair annoys me a bit because she seems to be really needy. I hope she grows up though.

Thanks for explaining. But how did Serena screw Nate over some job? She only called PJ the truth to save Carter. Nate wronged first by pretending to be on her side the whole time.

Anyway, the whole Serena Blair fight thing is getting old because it just divides the fans. Plus I think every single character is living in their own world. The only character who actually grew up is Chuck. Blair, she thinks after what she did to Chuck, that he will just forgive her and get her presents??

I dont know why everybody hates Vanessa so much. SHe hardly has that much story in the show. She becomes the main focus point in one or two episodes only.

I feel like the show has gotten downhill. It's not as good as it used to be. Besides from the hot cast and hot fashion, they are not as interesting as they used to be.

Jenny's attitude in tonight's episode was awesome. I didn't see that coming but when Nate turned out to be her escort, I kind of have a feeling that it was going to happen anyway. The whole third wheel w/ Olivia, Vanessa, and Dan was totally disturbing when they all kissed. If I were Vanessa, I would feel totally awkward.

Jenny's dress looked a bit loose on her, or it's probably just be who noticed that lol.
I'm glad Blair and Serena made up though, it's cute how Chuck made them stuck in the elevator.

I think it's official- I hate Jenny more than I hate Vanessa- LOL! I certainly hope that Eric will bring her down hard-that would make an interesting plot. I also think that Serena and Tripp would look good together especially now that we know both had feelings for each other and that Tripp's wife is pinkberry-that would be another exciting plot -more if Carter returns and finds Serena with Tripp.

i let go of gossip girl during season 2 but i heard aaron tveit was coming back so i had to watch... tripp was so sweet when he sat there and listened to serena's troubles... i don't like his wife and he and serena seem to genuinely like each other... hmm.. i dont even want to talk about the weird threesome...

When I watched the first season of Gossip Girl, I like how the story goes. Then came season 2, i like it less, and up to now, my interest to this hasn't gone back to normal but I am still watching this. I also don't like Vanessa, always make things complicated. Dan, Chuck, Blair is improving a lot. As for Serena, nothing change.

I guess I saw Vanessa and Dan coming though, considering that they had some thing in the boook and considering Gossip Girl has made Vanessa hook up with almost everyone but Dan...so it's his turn.
And they aren't going to keep Hilary Duff on the show FOREVER, so Vanessa and Dan are eventually going to hook up...especially after this threesome =="
