someone mentioned in this thread that nate's character in the book is suppose to be hotter than chuck. and someone replied that chuck seemed hotter.
i must say, appearance wise, I think nate is better looking than chuck.
but in the show because chuck's character is FREAKIN HOT..it totally makes him GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL.

In the book, dan turns out to be gay... and he even said that his character might turn gay on the show. Also, jenny and nate are supposed to start dating. You can kind of tell that something may be developing between them!

and no, dan did not "turn out to be gay" in the books. he became friends with this guy he worked with, greg, and one night, drunk from absinthe, they kissed. dan was confused and thought that he might be gay. but in the next book, he realized he didn't have any real feelings for greg and got back together with vanessa for the billionth time. so yeah, he's straight--he was just sexually confused for a while. in the end, greg hooked up with none other than chuck bass (who's out and about).

I really love this show. But I love the fashion even more.

Anyway, going back to the story ---- Is it for real ---in the books Chuck turns out to be gay?

Havent read any of the books -- might check it out sometime. Hopefully they will not make Chuck gay in the show -- i have nothing against gays ---its just that i love the conundrum that the love triangle Chuck-Blair-Nate brings to the story. Then add Jenny to the equation just to make Blair jealous.

^no, the writers' strike has not ended and there's not gonna be new episodes--not today and not until the strike's resolved (even then, it's gonna take time to write and shoot the thing). the only "promo" i saw on youtube just had clips from all the past episodes.
