my boyfriend is incredibly into ice hockey (until he broke his shoulder BECAUSE OF HOCKEY). but, he's gonna get back into it during this season. his friends are suprised that him and i are still going out (3+ months) because his other relationships don't last long, and i think it was his passion for hockey. during the weekdays, he has school (even though he has a few classes with me) and on the weekends and nights, he plays hockey ALL DAY AND NIGHT. i'm really concerned about this, because i want to be with him for a while. BUT hockey is something he's been passionate about since he was a kid.. so, am i selfish for being concerned? i haven't given any hints that i'm worried, but do fellas think i should? or just wait till the season comes around and then i'll know if we were really meant to be together?

I think he's being selfish but he doesn't realize it.
Hockey players devote all their time into hockey (I'm assuming he played when he was younger also) therefore that's the lifestyle they're accustomed too.

Also if he's really that into hockey I mean it's understandable that is why he breathes, eats, and lives hockey.

I think his behavior is selfish, and you should really talk to him. Don't do it in a pushy manner because hockey holds a special place in his heart. All guys have that one hobby/game/sport that kind of trumps everything.

How could you!? I wouldnt hesitate to disown a sister for hitting me in the nuts. Just kidding : ).

It is VERY PAINFUL, seeing as how its a sensitive region. That area has many nerves that connect to other parts of the body. So a good hard nut punch will surely send pains immediately to your brothers gut, stomach and taint. It also makes our legs very weak, so its very possible for us guys to just collapse upon impact of our balls.

Next time you walk upstairs, get your brother to punch you in the butt-hole...the pain is very similar. I know, because me and my brother punch each other in the butt-hole whenever one of us walks upstairs all the time. : ). Have fun...

Yea it's kinda hard to explain. It's not like a sharp pain or anything, not like you're being cut with a knife or anything like that. But it's a throbbing lingering pain, meaning it lingers for a while. It's kinda like a heart attack, down under. And it spreads to your abdomen, it's very very uncomfortable.

Ok, So I followed the advice of a reply here and i was going to kiss my bf. And then...........i chickened out. but the suprising thing was before i was about to go home, my bf suddenly kissed me! I was so so happy! We both said we loved each other, hugged goodbye and then i went home. but then a weird thing happened.....once i got home...usually my bf IMMEDIATLY logs onto MSN and then he talks to me...but this time he didnt. he didnt talk to me at all.....and all he would do is send me messages when i was offline. now my bf is a super shy guy but does that have anything to do with his behavior?
