I had a crush on a really close female friend one time and ended up "seeing" her. Honestly, I think it was good to get it out of the way, but was destined to not last. When you have a crush, it's like you believe that person is so perfect, but once you start dating them, you realize that they are human too. I found out real fast that so many things were incompatible with us and so did she.

shy guys typically dont go for girls that can get alot of attention because they themselves dont want the extra attention. I think the average girl is what every guy is looking for.

She was like, "But you know that no one can love you more than Mom & Dad, right?" haha It was funny and cute, but it was also sad because I knew she really meant it. I bet in the back of their minds they were thinking, "FINALLY! After 22 years, he found someone!" haha

My parents realize that I wouldn't be dating just any girl, so when I did tell them that I was in a relationship, they trusted that the girl was someone special. My parents are happy for me, but I sense that they are a little saddened because their baby boy is growing up. haha

if you're a guy and u havent lost ur v plates, is that a huge blow to ur masculinity? as in....are u likely to pay out one of ur friends for not sleeping with a chick? or would u actualy respect ur friend for not losing it....seems like most guys think its necessary to lose their v plates asap..

I find it odd is this culture that the girl is valued higher if they stay pure and "clean" until marriage while the guy needs "experience." This isn't just perptuated by just guys, I think a lot of females believe or accept this too.
As for me, I really haven't gotten to that level yet and I'm not in a rush to get there either. It doesn't mean that I'm going to be parading through the streets saying I'm a virgin. A lot of guys who brag about how many girls they've been with most likely are lying and making up things to boost their masculinity, or they are wanting to feel accepted by others by being "one of those guys."

Uhh... it depends on the guy... but an easy way you can find out is to just approach them straight up and provoke them. Get them to talk about how they feel and they'll probably reveal themselves.

Provoke them & talk to them straight in the face? hmmm it might work...

I guess it depends on the guy but for me, I'm scared of rejection and also losing the friendship I've made (if any) with that person and I hate the awkward feeling later on if it doesn't work out.
