So I've been reading this book lately called "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne, and coincidentally, this book was featured on one of the Oprah shows recently...
It's a body, mind and spirit book, based on the law of attraction.
It's really interesting, and basically, it tells you that whatever you think becomes real; if your predominant thought is money for your whole life, then that's what you're gonna get, because like thoughts are being attracted to you by the Universe, and if you have doubt, then you will probably lose the money BUT when your fear is gone, you are sure that you will get money again, so in most cases those people who are rich and then fall are able to pick themselves up again...
And I have no idea if what I just wrote made sense, but because of this book, I've been trying to smile more and it's actually making me happier. This thing really works...and they kinda use a lot of evidence ^^;
I haven't quite finished it yet, but I'm almost done...
This book is REALLY REALLY interesting, and even if you don't really enjoy reading as a hobby, I recommend you give this one a go ^^
But just a note, this book is only available (in stores) in USA, Australia and New Zealand so far (I THINK)

Honestly, there is a LOT of hype about this...
I'm not sure whether it works or not.
Some may be seeing some results. I don't know.
Personally, I've been doing some reading on it, and it's just... I don't know.
It doesn't seem very realistic somehow.
I don't mean to offend anyone, but in my opinion, it's almost giving people false hope. It's sort of common sense - if you want something, then work towards it o_o. Have aims, work toward your goals.
But getting a whole show devoted to it on Oprah alone, has made it huge.
Calling it "The Secret" alone was a smart move. You hear it and it piques your interest. Curiousity killed the cat, but it doesn't stop anyone lol.
For all the Aussies out there, if you didn't watch the latest Chaser (May 16), dl it off their site.
They tested "The Secret" out. Gold.

I watched the DVD for like the first 30 minutes. They showed it during our school's motivational camp.
At first I thought it was a horror movie or something. Its really goood. "Sending your thought to the Universe" thing really got stuck in my head.
