What was the worst semester (GPA) you had in college? Ugh, I had a pretty solid GPA and received a 1.8 for this semester... Luckily, I'm a senior so it doesn't hurt my GPA that much. What about for you guys?

So far, the worst I got was 3.52 which I was very upset about. However, I think I screwed up my last semester. Result won't be out till mid june so I'm worried about that. So not looking forward to it.

I think I screwed up this semester. There wasn't a lot to do, but there were lots of quizzes and exams...which I think I failed half of them. Grades are coming out in a few weeks. =/

I'm sick and tired of people complaining that their worst gpa was a 3.5 or a 3.2 or whatever. There are people who have gotten far worse you know, like a 1.7 or a 2.3 resulting in academic probation. Which leads to them constantly fearing that they'll get kicked out of the university. Your replies don't exactly make them feel better. Sorry if I sound harsh but that's how I feel.

lol i don't think i even got above a 3.1 average.

i'm happy i never failed a course.. but several times.. i was so close to failure.


worst grade i've gotten was probably.. C- and i think the prof was generous. i expected around a D. yup.... getting a 30% on a midterm freaked me out (but not enough to withdrawl.. i haven't withdrawn before. don't plan to)

At the time I had to drive to community college and my car had finally given up (after 170k miles<3).. Anyways, I had to drop my brother off at his bus stop to the city every morning around 6, then go to class around 8, then work from around 4-11ish.. Maybe I couldn't handle it all, but I took a year off and now I'm headin' back in the fall..

I've had alotta time to reflect but I have a better idea of what I'm doing now :]

my first year was horrible. i was really happy that i got mostly C's. lol. i thought i would get something lower than that. my average gpa is 2.6. it's the lowest gpa i have ever received. this up-coming school year, i plan to do some hardcore studying. but to do that, i have to do something about my facebook account. lol. that site can be addicting.

it was a bit harsh but i totally understand. however, I can't possibly afford to get anything lower than a 3.5 since im on government scholarship. if my gpa drop lower than that, the gov will pay extra attention on me and if it got any worse, they might take back the scholarship. so i have the right to be upset if i get anything lower than 3.5 cos it has a huge impact on my scholarship.

I think my worst semester was a 3.32 my fall semester junior year. My best was a 3.7 to juxtapose. I stand at a 3.55, but in all honesty, it really depends on the school you're from, whether difficulty is a factor or grade inflation.

worst semester: Fall semester, sophomore year. i was taking genetics, o-chem I, and psych stat and then some more classes all at the same time that semester, so it was killer xD 3.18

i have to second. you have to look at it in context...my parents will pull me out if i get less than a 3.6...and i was already cutting it close. they sure aren't going to continue paying $45,000+ for anything less than a 3.6

I'm proud to say, I've just made it to grad for my undergrad degree. It's not funny, but I don't care no more... 2nd year was difficult but my 3rd year GPA was lower because my program is extremely competitive.. I'm in biochem.. I don't know why they would still cut ppl out in 3rd year... There's only 30 ppl in my program, what's the point of cutting ppl out??? Anyways, it really depends on which semester you've got core courses with labs... I used to have 3 labs per week in 3rd year.. Which means, I have no life and no sleep...

I'm in a professional school right now and it's crazier... It's just a diploma I'm getting but then, I've got to put so much effort into it... Well, I guess I was a slacker for exams in uni.. So I'm kind of suffering now... But still, I don't study till the day before exams, it's just my habit... So my GPA was extremely low in uni but now, it's really nice... I still wish for a 4.0 though...

My worst GPA was 2.7 something. I got 1 D that semester. That was my 1st yr in cc. I pulled my GPA up to 3.5 in the end of my college for an A.S. Now I'm in university, my 1st semester I have a 3.4 GPA. Not happy with the result though but I know I was lack of motivation. I'll do better next semester.

what does your class set the average to? first year it was a 2.7 then second year and third it's about a 3.0. 4th year i think it'll be about a 3.5 for me.

last semester i got caught smoking bud in the dorms and got kicked off of campus... and this semester i ended up getting under a 1.0... and messed up in a lot of other things as well. it sucks but i do plan to make up for everything in the future. surprisingly dads still buying me a car.. so its not the end of the world lol.
