Umumum... Onna my classmates who's a bit "wide" told us that if you stretch of poke or pinch you fat it would get bigger blink.gif or if you suck your tummy in (if you have one) then it will get bigger unsure.gif

IS this true? blink.gif

I thought sucking in your tummy was kind of good. Like your working the muscles and it'll somewhat tone your abs? laugh.gif

I used to suck it in and the abs became visible. that was when I was physically inactive too.

LOL me too... I used to do it back when I was like skinny but still have a little flabby tummy. I think it actually helped maintain it. +shurgs+

It's good for your abs to suck them in because they'll get smaller. That's why they tell you to stand up straight and tuck your tummy in. When you slouch, you get more of a belly because your muscles are used to being relaxed and coming out. And when you excercise, you're supposed to try to suck in your tummy, so your muscles won't develop outward.

I don't think the thing about pinching is true though. It would be true if you were pulling it constantly. Otherwise, a few pinches shouldn't cause your fat to stretch.

my mom tells me that pinching some areas makes it easier to lose weight haha
she tells me to always pinch my love handles (not pinching and PULLING to stretch it out, just pinching)

^ That's right.

Like when you do pilate, yoga or cardio aerobics, the instructors in the videos say that you should tighten the stomach muscle the whole time to strengthen the muscle.
