hmm.. idk.. btw, how much is the mobile phone bill in korea? because it seems that many people in korea are using their handphone's as a main form of contact instead of a home phone..

When I used my cell phone in Korea (it's a Korean cell phone not like roaming Verizon or something) the bill usually came around to $100. That's probably because of all the text messaging and internet downloading... lol

My current plan is a student plan with $25++ per month if i don't exceed smile.gif

i have a korean phone
they usually make you get at least a $70 plan for the first few months, on top of a $10 text meessaging service
after about two months you can change it
so if you use the phone a lot, it shouldnt be a problem
and they say they will credit you BUT the only way you can your money back is by bugging the crap out of them lol

Well I got my bill from Verizon Wireless yesterday and it's the same as it was before I got my SKY IM-U160. But then again I bought the cell phone without a new contract (at a ridiculously high price) so it was no strings attached.

^ You could sign up with Verizon Wireless at a Korean cell phone store after your T-mobile contract ends. Or you could buy a non-Korean gsm phone.

There isn't one as Verizon is a US carrier.

I'm researching using Korean phones as a cell phone and I'm wondering if you get an unlocked/sim card free phone from a company what service in the US do you have to use? and how can you start using it? :3
