i agree with panda
you can get an extended warranty through a dealer or they may be able to supply you with a third party extended warranty. usually they have to look at the car (i think). and it really is important to look at the fine print, i have an extended warranty on my engine and transmission in my car, but it was void unless i had a tune up within the first 60 days of the warranty's start, and regular oil changes every 4 months or 4 thousand miles, and documentation to prove the work had been done. so remember to keep reciepts and read the fine print so you dont lose any money
