Ummm.. social security number and working..help please!

I'm an immigrant..and on my social secuirty card thingie or whatever..it says.. "not valid for employment"
uMmMm...does that mean i cant work? o_O
i just realized this..lol..as I was fillin out a job application..
and I just turned 18..WOW! exactly one month and a day ago..lol

but yea.."not valid for employment.."
can i still work? blink.gif

and sorry if its in the wron section...>.<

maybe you could call up the relevant authorities and ask.

^ Yes, best to do that. It's something only the immigration authorities can sort out for you, not soompi.
