Hey guys, so I'm trying to build up Soompi's Wikipedia page. Soompi on Wikipedia
I've only come up with the introduction paragraph right now and have yet to develop the main content, such as the History, Contests, Fanlore, Members that richly make Soompi such an interesting place to visit on a daily basis.
Is there any information you think is pertinent for a Soompi Wikipedia article? Any feedback from you would be great. Thanks everyone!

Hmmm ... I thought wiki blocked the soompi page because people were editing it with false info ...

Well, it seems to be working at this point (but fits the criteria for speedy deletion!).

There is a thread about it in the Questions, Comments, Suggestion board:
http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124819
And as the issues of editing goes, people included false information and basically turn into some bash fest hence the deletion, at least from what I read that Wiki page.

So I guess Soompi was represented on Wikipedia, but it got deleted due to a short history of bashing on the page. Well, it's about time someone created a proper page with credentials and listings! I'm working on defending its existence, so keep your fingers crossed, everyone!

I'm having a hard time finding credible mentions of Soompi in the media. Anyone know if Soompi has ever been mentioned in a news magazine or popular web journal?

Never mind, found an article in the Post to back-up my claim! 'Riding the Seoul Train'. I hope this is enough for that Wikipedia administrator.

Wouldn't a screenshot of the main site be better than using the forums?
I mean if you just take a screenshot of the forums, it looks just like every other Invision board out there...
Your wiki for it is fine, but IMO, it summarizes the forums too much instead of the main page.

NEWSFLASH: I HAVEN'T BEEN A MODERATOR FOR LIKE 2-3 YEARS, SO STOP MESSAGING ME ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS.

I've updated a screenshot of the main page. If there's any specific info to add, please tell me (and feel free to edit it yourself if you'd like). =]
