Hi everyone.

Some of my friends are leaving to asian countries later on this summer and I am asking for some opinions/suggestions on which handset I should ask them to get for me. (I am having a hard time deciding which one.)
There are some phone models that i want are NOT available in Canada or the US yet (i don't know when)... but those models are already available in the Asian countries, Europe, UK.. etc.
Some of these models (eg: Sony Ericsson S500i) are not yet available, but will be released within this month.

If you guys could rank these phone models from your first choice to last choice, that would be VERY VERY helpful. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! =)

Lastly.... the Nokia N95 looks very HOT... but it's not on my list of choices after I found out that's very pricy.. and I heard that its priciness is not worth it. The features that are attractive on that phone are the 5 megapixel camera, navigator/maps and that it's a 2-way sliding phone. If anybody knows anything info about this model (like.. if u have used it before or am owning one at the moment), do provide them please, cuz i wanna know. ^^;; Thx!

They are exactly similar, only difference is firmware. The w580 has walkman 2.0 and the s500 has the theme changing thing. The only main difference between the two. You can also get the walkman software on the s500 if you want to by flashing the firmware.

I have the SE K810 - I love it cos it's a digital camera in disguise!
I can't say anything about Nokia though, cos the last time I used a Nokia was like yonks ago lmao.

I just want a phone with a decent camera that I can take pics with it whenever I need it (I think preferably one with higher quality pics? and has autofocus? ) and one where I can listen to music and set mp3 ringtones... and of course, look stylish. hehe

They stated that the phone can set to change different themes whenever it is in daylight or night... or you can set it to change themes with the seasons.

N93i: This phone is on my list of choices because you can twist the screen to see what image the camera lens is focusing at (great for taking self portraits if you like) and if you choose the silver colour one, you can use the cover as a mirror.
Nokia designed this one so that it is an improvement of the previous N93: it is more lighter, a bit slimmer and problems that users got from the N93 are improved on this one.


hmmmm.. so I guess I'll narrow down my list of choices and not think about the Nokia 6288. This leaves the k810i, s500i and n93i. Still having a hard time deciding which one.

That's right. It's a S500 after all, not a W500. Ya, I was talking about the changing themes. You don't really set it, it has a sensor and changes by itself. It's like Samsung's theme changer.

If you want good music also, then get the K810. Way better battery life.
