So, I got chosen as one of the graduation speakers who are speaking at graduation. I got chosen from Honor Society. When I went to graduations couple years ago, they were awesome...im talking about classic and memorable...I just don't feel that I can be one of 'em...

For those who've already been in graduation...what have u heard? And for those who hated the speeches, what would u liked the speaker to say?

Any input would be awesome...cuz im like dying here just thinking about it. plze help me?

this sounds really cheesy, but the most touching speeches are the ones that come from the heart.

be honest. don't force yourself to say something just to please your classmates. i haven't really heard any outstanding speeches, but i do remember (i think it was two years ago) one graduation speaker talking about how on her first day of school, she was so lost and afraid, but managed to find her way because she stood with her friends.

Honestly, I think those from-the-heart speeches get really boring. Everyone always talks about the same thing, how it was so different at first but as you got through high school your friends became part of your family blah blah blah stuff like that. If I were you, I'd talk about different things that are funny/random/catches people's attention, but still include the necessary good stuff.

damn nice, i wish had the chance, well i'd throw in some jokes, youi wanna make peopel laugh, since it is graduation, you want to get them to reminisce. so maybe bring up big events that happened over the 4 years when you were all in hs. Refer to some teachers, some hangout place where all the kids went, etc. Look back, and then look forward.
