i messed up my hs years pretty much and wont be able to graduate unless i do all these things, i mean sure the path that is open for me seems thorny and all but i just dont think its worth it, hmm.. i pretty much had straight F's the past 3 years of my HS years, now as i senior i have to take 8 classes, 2 nite classses and a morning class as a summer school along with 3 nite classes, i have financial issues as well . Dad dont have a job (currently leeching off my uncle) and does not own a house. Mom and Dad never owned their own beds. And so have I, i know i should have straightened up .. but what can i do ? its here and cannot be undo, i gave in to peer pressure and chose to john tesh up, now i have to do all this mumbo jumbo, but im gonna have to work on getting my liscenese and to at least get a job so i can work off the insurance im gonna need (parents dont drive) and my moms carpool is about to abandon her, and i'm gonna have to pick and drop her off. So im speaking realisticaly.. i wont have the time to do all that, im gonna have to shove one thing aside, and i cannot afford to waste time and wait a year off since my uncle says he'd kick us all out if i do, so dropping out is something i cannot affor to do. hmm everything just seems soo complicated, my mom sends money to china (family thing) and she cant afford to pay for my stuff if i ever need to have her do so. Which is why i shall work. im thinking of getting a GED later on. But the thing is .. is it worth it? which path should i walk on ? which is the best solution on these type of dillema? i havent learn a thing from school. I cant write well, i dont get things as fast as an average person. Im just not used to the environment. I have 2 weeks to decide, pls.. i need help. thanks

Although the past cannot be changed, you can start anew. You can try studying hard now (eg. go library after school?). And about the financial issues... You're old enough to get a job now can't you? If you're in Australia I'm pretty sure you could get a job at maccas or something. It's never too late to start all over again. You can just learn from all the mistakes you've made in the past. Concentrate more in class and ignore all the things that distract you.
I hope I'm helpful enough >< .. I'm not a senior yet so I wouldn't know

Don't be disheartened.
If you want to attain something, don't give up. I think you should start what you should do, now, like studying hard. Having friends who study alot helps, so if you have, tag along with them. They motivate you to study and you can always ask them about school stuff. I don't have any tips about getting a job since I never had one. But then, don't give up.
Good luck, you'll sort things out.

despite all the trouble,
it's good to know that you also worry for yourself.
and that's where it all starts~
since you do want it,
you will achieve it.
sure - there will be all the struggles in the world.
but knowing the fact that you want it.,
makes it a bit better to live.,

Well, I'll be the first to give you advice then.
If you want to choose the path that's best for you, then you shouldn't take the full day of classes; here's why. You've claimed you're not exactly too bright so most likely you'll be unable to keep up with the workload you'll receive from the classes. You said you've gotten 3 years' worth of F's, so even if you manage to graduate from the high school, your application for college wouldn't look that good, it'll just be more work for a small reward. You're almost 17 if not already there, then you should be able to drop out and take a GED. The GED will take very little time out of you, about up to 3 hours a day for 2 months roughly. It really depends but hearing from a few friends of mine that took it, it was relatively easy and barely took any time out of their day.
Since GED would only take 3-4 hours out of your day at max, you could apply for a part-time or maybe even full time job. Just go around and look, I'm not too sure on the approach to get a job but you should try for a minimum-pay job since it seems you don't have much working experience but always remember to be honest, if you don't know how to do something don't lie about it, just say you don't know and they might be nice enough to hire you based on honesty and teach you. That way, you can also take driving lessons during the weekend and try to get the license then. This way, you'll be able to help your family a little financially and you'll be able to get a good nights sleep most of the time since the GED and job don't really have any homework
. The wonders of the GED is that if you score over a 3000 on the official test(I think it's only 2250 to pass) you could be accepted to some 4 year universities, if that might be what you're aiming for. The path of GED isn't that rough actually even if it does take a good two years longer. All you need then would be to take basic courses(history, math, english, science) in a community college for 1-2 years to build up a nice transcript then you can officially take up a major and take undergrads and get a bachelors in that. If you reach there by then, you would know what to do yourself.
Hope this helps.
By the way, I'm not sure where you live but shouldn't your dad be able to apply for unemployment?

the first step in fixing all problems:
knowing what you did wrong. you're on the right path, i can tell you that.
other than that... i can only say not to be too sad. if you give it your all, i kno
w you'll be able to get through it!

I won't say anything mean, but I will say what you could've done.
If I ever failed even one thing, I'd freak out and probably kill myself (not really, I'm afraid to do that ^^). Maybe back then, you could've done everything you're supposed to without cutting (I cut a little bit, but my grades went down a bit, so stopped).
But since you can't do anything now, maybe you can try harder. You'll have to gather up all your energy and just shoot it at your work. Really. I can't imagine having all those classes when I'm a senior...O.O. I won't even get the chance to kill myself cause then my mom'll kill me first.
Don't lose faith, though. I believe that every single thing happens for a reason.....I'll think of a good reason, but for a reason, even if it's little. Maybe it happened to teach you not to fail. Or it was to show you how much you have to work to get through. I don't know. But don't lose faith. YOU WILL DO WELL!!
GANBATTE~!!! (at least you care, though....other people don't care at all)
