But you shouldn't think of graduation as something others celebrate for you. It should be something you celebrate for yourself. Come on, you've been through 12+ years of school. Think of it this way: would it be worse to regret walking or to regret NOT walking? Like some saying goes, later on in life you'll be more likely to regret the things you did NOT do rather than the things you did.

So my questions are: Should I go anyways? Is graduation really that big of a deal? People tell me I'll regret not walking, Does anyone know of anybody who did not walk at their high school graduation?
You knnow what, I've thought of the same thing too. I mean I havent had freinds since my freshman year in high school after my friend betrayed me and I have a hard time getting along with others. On a count of that, I went through my middle school year graduation year alone. I was alone by myself with no one to talk to while everyone has freinds and I really nearly did cry, now that I have one more year to graduate I feel like I'm gonna be alone again, but this time seeing the guy I used to like and this so called "friend". But at least you're better than me, you at LEAST have people you know. So you should go. Just think of it as celebrating the last time you see the people you hate, and at the end of the day, just think "wow, I'm never coming back here again", and think on to college! Thats what my goal is for next year, so yep, I think you should walk at your high school graduation. Good Luck!

Also I mean think of whether you'll regret doing this 20 years. 30 years down the line. If you really think you won't, then don't do it, if you think you will, then do it. Think of the future.
Do you know why people take photos during vacations. It doesn't make the vacation any better, but it's so they'll have memories of it.

im sure they want to see you up there
That's all that walking is for...your parents, grandparents, and aunts/uncles.
I just graduated yesterday and all I can say is it felt really good to walk...you could think to yourself "I beat you high school and I'm never coming back."
Besides, wouldn't you want to take pictures with your friends afterwards.
I cannot really speak to the point of having a huge class (I only have 137 and it would have been obvious if I didn't walk). But, yeah, it's totally worth it. You could leave right after the ceremony if you really don't like your class all that much.

My high school is like the 5th largest in the USA.
My graduating class had like 700-750 people in it.
Just walk. What else are you going to do? Nothing?
You can always do everything else whenever, but HS graduation ceremony comes once in a lifetime.
Social anxiety is something you just have to get over.
After HS, life is only going to get harder. College is going to force you to become open, or else you'll become secluded, isolated, and feel lonely...maybe even depressed.
Better start to open up and feel comfy with other people before your life gets messed up because of it.

I'm pretty sure your parents have been waiting for the day they can see their children graduate from high school. Don't let them down.

what it do, what it do?!
