ever since i got my cellphone. ive been trying so hard to get my USB working in order to transfer files between my PC and cellphone.
but now matter how many times ive tried and tried with different methods, it doesnt work. its driving me NUTS!!

i install everything correctly and everything was working fine until i plug the USB onto the computer along with the phone on the other side to connect it. i wait and wait, but nothing happens.

does anyone have this problem with this phone? or with Samsung PC Studio 3..?
and PLEASE do not post and say its because i dont know how to use it. ive never had a problem with my previous samsung phones except this one. i know Samsung PC Studio 3 is new and there wont be a upgrade for a very very long time. i know for some of you, you PC studio 3 is working fine. just not mine!!

help would be much appreciated.

ALSO, can someone tell me if E900 is red or pink?.. im confused.
it looks red but its called pink and on the other hand, it looks pink but its called red.

does anyone have this cellphone in red or pink and tell me im not seeing things.
is there two separate phones (pink and red) or is it mislabelled?

This is a useless post but ...

what I do to transfer files onto my e900 is to just use my micro sd card. I find it faster and easier than opening up Samsung PC Studio 3.

If you never manage to get the usb working [is it just that ur computer isn't recognising the usb?] try transferring things via the sd card =].

Well this is how I do it. Iono if you do it the same way.
I plug in the USB and I click the Samsung photo studio. Then it usuallly works, but if it doesn't, I unplug the usb cord and replug try again. If it still doesn't I unplug it from my phone and replug and try it again. It should work..

I had the same problem with my old T809.
I transfered the files through the memory card as well.

It's never a problem for me. I have a E900 also and all I do is plug it in and click manage files and works fine.

`deelicious - I feel your pain... because that happens to me as well and I've asked on Soompi, not much luck really in resolving it.

I got my phone from China, did you??? Because I think that might be a reason too....
I plug it in numberous times, but my PC just doens't recognise it... it always give me error message saying, Unknown device USB.

I always thinking of getting a USB Bluetooth Dongle... Not sure if that's going to work either...because if the PC doesn't recognise the PHONE itself, then it won't work. Unless transfer via Micro SD card..

which reminds me.. how do you transfer using Micro SD cards?? do you need a special thing?

so the card reader is like a USB cable thing that connects to the PC?
hmm, that sounds good. I was thinking of trying bluetooth dongle which you can get for $10.

did you connect the phone and computer together?

This is totally off topic, but I LOVE your phone. I was going to get the E900 in pink too, but I didn't know anyone who had it in pink so I didn't know how bright it would be! Now that I see your picture...I think it's a bit more red than pink, but it's still hot!

i've had my E900 since August of 2006 and it really is an awesome phone. love it.

I can only access my stuff through the Samsung Studio program as well and never had any problems with it.

you're phone's nice, never knew Samsung released it in pink.

Go to Radio Shack and buy a convertor for it. They should have one.
