i got into chinese music from my friends at school~
and i reallyyy like david tao, guang liang, and jay chou.
can anyone recommend me any other artists/music?

Wang Leehom & JJ Lin are two male artists I recommend!! I <3 them xP If you want more, try Gary Cao, Anson Hu, Nicholas Teo, Huang Yida, Tank, Rynn Lim...

Female... Angela Zhang, Jane Zhang, Fish Leong, Stefanie Sun, Jolin Tsai, Fan Wei Qi.

Group... F.I.R, S.H.E, Nan Quan Mama, StyLe. People seem to like Fahrenheit too (I've only heard one song haha).

if u like David Tao, TANK pretty much has a very similar style!
JJ Lin sometimes reminds me of Guang Liang because they both have a weird-ish voice.
Maybe try Gary Cao and Show Luo as well?

If you like David Tao, Jay Chou, Guang Liang, etc. most likely you will like Wang Leehom, Tank, and JJ Lin as well. Do try them; very talented people.

Will Pan is also good if you like some nice rap. He also sang "Bu De Bu Ai". That song was a big hit.
Gary Cao, Show Luo, also good.
If you're an R&B fan try Khalil Fong. I'm not a fan of him though. I don't really like his music -> I'm not a big R&B fan.

Elva Hsiao, Stefanie Sun, Fish Leong are also highly recommended.

Since no one mentioned her, A-Mei Zhang, i absolutely love her. Alan Kuo, Alex Li, Alex To and Will Liu and oh Nicky Lee from Machi is good. For girls, i like A-Lin Huang, Genie Zhuo, Evonne Hsu, Jin Sha, Penny Tai, and Angela Zhang.
For groups, I like Cherry Boom Girls, Tension and 5566. i like other too but this is a good list already XD

I'm surprised (appalled? =X) some of you suggested Fahrenheit and F4. Since the topic poster likes David Tao, Jay Chou, and Guang Liang, I would assume she likes singer-songwriter types.

I HIGHLYYYYY RECOMMEND Leehom Wang! He composes every single song on his albums and his voice is very powerful. His albums all have very different styles (especially his more recent albums from 2001-2007). He sings lots of pop ballads, upbeat songs, hiphop-ish songs, he raps, etc etc

Gary Cao is also a singer-songwriter with an amazing voice and some great ballads (his fast songs aren't as good)
