i have a problem on my computer when i minimize things. When i minimize firefox for example, it quickly minimizes while showing the page still, and then it minimizes. Anyone have this problem?

This problem has been going on ever since i changed my layout of my desktop.

You changed your layout. Using what software?
It's a celeron. You shouldn't change anything drastic.

No to Vista Feel and Looks (Softwares/Skins/Themes as they can slow your pc/laptop)
No to StyleXP
No to anything related to StyleXP (change toolbars and skins by modifying the windows core files)
No to fancy looks.

Right click 'My Computer' to go System Properties
Then Advanced tab > Settings (Performance) > Adjust for best performance

Well, yeh i did change to a vista look, but it did not really affect my computer to drastically. Also my celeron is not slow at all, but maybe its because of my graphics card? or harddrive? i dunno...

ur ram.... its very little.

as your themes program will prob take atleast 30-50 megs of it. when you have mozilla on its another 100 meg. with other programs and processes running, i can see why it would lag.

What I'm saying is that sometimes theme packs just don't work well with other programs. It's just the way it goes. That's why you have programs like Firefox that are released as Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.3 or NOD32 2.70.39. They had bug fixes and what not to make it more efficient.

So until someone comes up with a bug fix for that Vista Inspirat theme you have, or you code Firefox yourself, you'll just have to live with it, or uninstall it (preferably).
