I'm doing this survey for my GCE 'A' level subject, Project Work. I need to collect statistics and data for my project work. I hope i came to the right place And i need to collect enough surveys by the end of June

This poll should be redesigned. You need a clear vote or N/A option for the second and third poll questions for those of us who don't game, since only the first and last questions have valid options for non-gamers. I can't just answer one or two questions; it won't let you submit an incomplete poll.

Anyway, my answer to the first poll question is No, I don't game. I wouldn't give up sleep to play video or computer games.

0 hours. The most I've ever played is about two hours in the past year when some friends and I played Super Smash Brothers for about that long.

N/A; I don't have any gaming systems, though I do have a computer (obviously).

I think they're pretty addictive, but I think it can range anywhere from 1 (in my case, since I like them while playing but am not addicted) to 10 (as shown by the apparent demand for video game rehab in China). I think it depends on the person.

In most people, no, but I've seen that it can make really young boys act more violently because they do imitate what they've done in computer and video games. I've seen my brother do it. I think people generally grow out of imitating video game violence if they went through that stage, though. Many of the people I know who're crazy about gaming are actually wimps.

Not really, I'm a moody gamer. I'll can play day after day and there will be times when I won't play for weeks.

Nope. I believe people consciously pick up games because of their personality/interests.
You know the saying: guns don't kill people, people kill people.

It depends on the maturity of the person. If they are a more mature, I don't think it will affect them. If they are immature and highly impressionable, I think it does affect them (especially child boys as they are typically more aggressive).

Overall 6, not really I mean there are times when beating an enemy, friend, or a map is extremely addictive but it's not too bad.

I'd say it does have an influence. After playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault (World War 2, first person shooter, I did have fantasties about war. These fantasties later accumulated into an interest in guns and military that I had not had before. But not nessicarily a violent influence (Although some people may be more negatively influenced than I have)

I am not a true gamer. I pop in w/e game that happens to be my craving. I am one of those kids that is always busy with stuff. I never let it cut into my studies, extra ciricular activies, and other duties I have.

I find gaming a good stress reliever, honestly that and running keep me sane sometimes You can let your darkest emotions out without being judged and without restraints instead of actually expressing them.

I believe gaming can coorelate to personaliy traits.
Amongst my friends the ones who play Real Time Strategy happen to be quieter and more studious
My friends who play First Person Shooters happen to be brasher and louder
My friends who play racing games happen to have more adrenaline rush swings (As in they'll get excited all of a sudden and get really into something suddenly)
And finally my friends who play RPGs happen to be the type of kids that are intelligent, but lazy. Also they happen to be of the outgoing time.
