okay first of all vista isn't all that great, because when you start your defragment it doesn't show any status percentage and also when you do defragment it's slow and also the stupid thing can't even tell if i should defragment or i shouldn't. because after i finished defragmenting it saids the computer is recommending to defragment again.....wtf is going on? does anyone hab same problem as me?

All those little bugs in Vista will be fixed when future Service Packs get released for it. If you've defragged, and Vista still recommends for another defrag, just don't do it.
If you want Vista to run smoother, you have to get more RAM.

well i talked to the hp guys and they told me go on a safe mode and see if defragment works...if it doesnt even pop up then it's the computer so they told me just exchange it with the same model =] but yeah ur right..they coming with service pack in july ur a great help thanks ^^
