So for my asian pop culture class, I decided on writing a research paper on karaoke. We all know that karaoke originated from Japan and got pretty big in Asia. My question is, how come karaoke is so popular among Asian youths but not so much among non-Asians? If you guys don't mind helping me, please answer some of the questions I have so that I can better understand things! MUCH APPRECIATED!

yes, once every 3~4 weeks

rap, pop, ballads

i never took a nonasian yet

cuz its sooo much fun, relieves stress

9) Why do you think karaoke is so much more popular with Asians than non-Asians?
cuz asians have a different style of having fun... i really donno why.. i think it might have something to do w/ culture as well

Not often since I usually burn my own karaoke discs.

It's fun to sing songs that you like with other friends

Because non-Asians like to do other stuff? hahahs no idea.
