And what are the requirements? I've tried googling but to no avail...It's based on GPA, right? Can someone please explain to me

I thought these were used in college only? I may be wrong though ^^
It's based on GPA though.
* Summa Cum Laude: 3.85
* Magna Cum Laude: 3.70
* Cum Laude: 3.50

At my high school:
* Summa Cum Laude: 4.0+
* Magna Cum Laude: 3.80+
* Cum Laude: 3.50+
It's mainly for graduation
* Summa Cum Laude: 4.0+

well.. at my high school..
you're only able to graduate with honors (cum laude),but they dont say cum laude, you're just an honor graduate if you have a cummulative GPA of 90.0 or higher and u get a stoll thingy to wear at graduation
and college..they set different standards
but usually.. 3.5 graduates with honors
and then a little bit higher get great honors
and a little bit higher get highest honors
