check out this video, its about the new microsoft surface, which is basically a coffee table with a screen, but you can touch and minupilate different things on it...

"Surface Computing" (as Microsoft labels it) and "Multi Touch Computing" isn't anything new. First thing I would like to see is "Single Touch Computing" or "Touch Screen" in general become more affordable for regular lcd monitors. Currently, touch screen monitors cost an arm and a leg.

I would hate to clean up all the fingerprints... man that screen must be really pricey too! haha the "ultimate unloseable remote" XD .. i would rather pay $10 for a new one remote than spend thousands of dollars on this one.. but i have to say, this is pretty neat stuff

Looks cool and all that crap, like other cool looking electronics out there.

Now I predict Apple funding their engineers to build something similar and better. Psshhh, should have kept it a secret a bit longer until you released it Microsoft.

I remember seeing some video demos of multitouch technology in the past but Microsoft's table really shows off a lot of new and interesting applications. Its great to see computers becoming more user friendly.
