Sometimes when I try to play certain AVI files with WMP, I get this msg "xvidcore.dll not found". Then it closes wmp.
Is there any way to stop this and make the video play?

Limewire prob:
I just got it! when I first used it, there were no problems (and I did not download any dangerous file!)
but on the next day, it just couldn't start coz of some kinda save folder (or sth like that) error.
I re-installed it but it still didn't work! How can I fix that?
AND YES, MY COMPUTER IS SPYWARE/VIRUS-FREE!!!

maybe? try it out. And for problems like these, just google it. Seriously, there are tons of forums that talk about problems like these. I'm not even sure if this works, but there was a forum that was discussing this, and this .exe file seemed to solve the problem for most of them

Codec problem. Download the newest K-lite or CCCP codec packs. You can google them.
Limewire:
I don't really know, you can repair it by going to Control Panel and there should be an option "Change or Remove," click one and it should eventually give you the option to repair. If it doesn't work out and nobody else replies, google "Limewire support forum."

Concernin' the codec, would it be enough to only download XVid (not a whole codec package like K-Lite)?
and about Limewire, I can't EVEN access it now! So how am I supposed to go to its Control Panel?!
Whatever, guess I'm just gonna give up on it coz anyway, it didn't even grow on me, I never liked this thing!

The reason why I suggested it was so you wouldn't have future codec problems. Just go back to the site if you ever have a codec problem again because they update it.

Yeah I have the latest Java version (otherwise how did it use to work then?)
Only ONE message pops up, about an error in the save folder or sth like that. Can't tell u the exact message, coz I un-installed it since I couldn't make it work

No no you have it all wrong.
Limewire is a program, like Kazaa is a program, of course you know that. The thing is, Limewire connects to the Gnutella2 network. THAT is what you want. You want another program that connects to that network, like Kazaa connects to the Fasttrack network.
Frostwire like I said, is a Limewire clone. It has all the features of Limewire, and it looks identical as well. And Shareaza connects to the G2 and G1 networks, not to mention it can handle Bittorrent and eDonkey networks as well.
