I studied hard for a math test and I ended up doing really bad. All through the entire year I never got anything below an 85 on the tests and on this test I made the stupidest mistakes and ended up not passing. This really pissed me off, because this is the last test before the final and my grade is borderline B/A in that class. Ugh!

So what do you do about it? Do you continue to study or blow it off?

It makes me mad and then I think about it for the rest of the day...or week, depending on how important it was.
Depending on what subject it is, it makes me either study harder or pisses me off so much that I just blow it off. xD

Blow it off this once. Mistakes happen and maybe you overworked yourself since you're stressing out over a borderline B/A. Do good on the finals and maybe you'll get that A.

I'd be pretty pissed about it, but even though I'll remember for a long time, I'd study even harder to try and boost up grade.

You know what sucks more? When you studied so hard and paid attention in class, but the person who sits next to you doesn't pay attention and throws notes to their friend ends up getting an A, and you get a C. -_____-

I do that for physics all the time. I study, read, go over everything and then BAM bad test grade. I get very very upset mostly disappointed with myself. But I feel slightly better because I knew that I had studied.

i get really angry and upset
especially if i study for 4 hours and only get an A
when a friend of mine gets a 100% after just studying on the car ride to school.

This happens to me A LOT!! You feel like you've crammed every piece of information into your head, you feel like you're breezing through the test, you feel a sense of confidence and hope, but when the tests come back, it's a totally different story.

It also seems to work in the opposite direction. For a test that you just kind of BS your way through, you'll find that you actually do pretty good on it. blink.gif yeah, weird...

Oh man,
I've been through this many many times!
And it sucks to see my friend who've only "studied for an hour" (or so she says rolleyes.gif ) ending up getting a 95%+. -_______-;

chyeah rightttttt.
I hate it when this happens.. it just makes me even more depressed and stupid.
But instead of moping around all sad,
I've decided to do even better and prove all those ppl wrong XD

I cried the day I found out that I didn't improve at all on my second SATs (I got the same score on on all 3 sections). I was soo disappointed... well I didn't study for it and crammed at the last minute so I guess I deserved it for being cocky.

But for school, I don't worry about it too much. If I fail a test, I can make it up with extra credit, homework, and projects. Also with our retest policy, we can raise it to 80 max.

Just cheat and you will be fine. On the real though, I'd rather study and fail than fail by blowing it off... because if you fail after slacking off, it always leaves you (me anyway) wondering what the grade would have been if you studied.
