I'm getting a new phone soon (T-Mobile) and I was wondering which ones are good for texting? [[Aside from the Sidekick, for obvious reasons)
I had a razr before, but the text lag was soooo bad. I text pretty quickly, and I spent a lot of time just waiting for my razr to catch up.
I was looking at the LG KE800 - T-Mobile's Chocolate - and the text is pretty bad too =p

Suggestions? Even if it's not from T-Mobile biggrin.gif
How are your own phones for texting?

Thanks in advance!

LG KG800
It's referred to as the "tmobile chocolate" but it originated in Korea.

^ The LG KG800 is an imported GSM phone similar to the original KOREAN version, so since it's
GSM, it uses a SIM card (T-mobile, Cingular, etc..)

And to the topic starter, what's your price range? You could probably find some good imported GSM
phones that're good for texting, just look around some online retailers ^^

The original RAZR V3 lags badly. I want to break mine in half.

Qwerty phones are the best for texting, IMO, like T-mobile Wing. You can get it for $99 by signing up for contract and this and that. PM me if you are interested on how to get this deal.

I just bought my Ocean from Helio, and I love the qwerty keyboard. I think it's a great device for messaging (texts, IMing, etc)..I had the Drift but I hated texting on the numeric keypad.

t-mobile is a telecom company, just like verizon, sprint, etc.
t-mobile is also former voicestream.
