When I see you, I see everything that makes me smile, happy, blessed
When I touch you, sometimes I want to cry, because I'm so afraid of letting you go
My everything, my first love, my only love, my love FOREVER

Get them expensive lingerie :x. That was like the first thing to pop into my head when I read your post. Sorry if its stupid, but if you don't want to get regular gifts, lingerie is always the way to go; for the honeymoon of course ;]

thats about it for me.
anyways, my mom's birthday is coming up (oct 10th).. what should i get her ? she doesn't read english nor speak it much, and shes currently pregnant(@ 35 turning 36).. she doesn't like things that smell strongly like lotions, etc. i don't wanna spend too much on my mother.. maybe i should wait and buy something for the baby ?
there's a guy i like but hes long distance, anyways his birthday is 10 days after my mother's.. which makes his oct 20th. what should i get him ? i was gonna get him som cologne but nah, hes not my bf.. lol so i was just thinking of a simple birthday card? that okay ?

I reeeeeeeeally hope you meant "ear piercings".
ummm~ two years huh? What I always do is like try to buy little things someone mentions... ie: go shopping and listen to things that he's like "oh, that would be nice to have" or "I like that". OR if he likes certain things, like you mentioned, buy things related to that.... but I can't really think of anything specific, I guess I'm not much help :[

- Clothes from a store she likes
- Gift cards from her favourite stores.
- A poem thats written by you; she'll think it's really sweet.
- Perfume (if she wears any)
- Cook dinner for her
- Take her somewhere special && have a picnic or something.
- Flowers are always an option but its pretty typical.
- Jewellery.. ? (bracelets or necklaces or earrings)
- Handmade card with reasons why you like her (or something cute like that^^)
I can't think of anything else T.T

I personally dislike stuffed animals and flowers and picture frames... But that's just me. I don't like items that don't have much use other than for decoration. It varies from girl-to-girl.
I like hair clips, earrings, rings (especially couple rings), necklaces, bracelets, cute looking pens/mechanical pencils, pretty stationary and notebooks, K-pop music CDs, books, and gift certificates. I know some guys are really embarrassed to do this, but matching shirts (couple clothing) are really sweet too. Couple diaries are nice too
For those non-material gifts, I recommend...
Writing a song and even giving her a recording of it. I love guys that play instruments like piano or guitar, I'm sure a lot of other girls do too.
Cooking a meal for her
Making a video letter

my best friend's bday was yesterday =]
i got her a basket!
on the bottom was rice krispies. there was a layer of reese's cup on top. there was a shirt wrapped in tissue paper on top of that. and i got her a necklace, which i placed in a box, and that was placed on top. and then i scattered rose petals on the top
i wanted to have a gift card on the veryyy bottom to her favorite shop, but i was running out of money hahha =]

haha I had a jar full of stars stating all the reasons why i like him (: When he was submitted into hospital (sport injury)
That's adorable
Have 101 Balloons. On them, just quote things you guys share .. or reasons why you love him. Give him a box, with a pin. He can poke 'em as he reads them (: I have always wanted to do that if we reach 2 years.
Or scrap book, with little love notes.. decorated with photos of you guys.
Or what my friend did.. a video (edited and all) of all the things that have happened in the past 2 years.
Wow. I wish my 2 year (far from one year) would come about .. soon lol
