lol i've found a blog about giving guys orgami stars..

"Good Present:
ninja stars. uh....i don't think i have to explain this one. they're NINJA STARS.
Bad Present:
origami stars. ok, i get it - you spent a lot of time on these. you made every single puffy star with your bare hands. it symbolizes how much you care about me. ok i get it. but LAME. unless, origami stars is the main currency in japan that can be used to buy video games, LAME. when we receive them all we think about is how many hours you spent mindlessy making these and how bad we feel for you. you could've read a book, enriched your mind. feed the poor, help the sick. find the cure to cancer, or accomplish something great. instead, you made 1000 puffy origami stars out of paper that will most likely end up in the bottom of a box that says "WTF box"."

from chrischoi's xanga.

i'm scared to give my bf a huge jar of stars for our 100 days now tears.gif

^make him a card and bake him something? or u cud always just get him a shirt. go to the mall with a budget and im' sure you can find something smile.gif

4month coming up in exactly two week, just gonna buy a picture frame with multiple picture slots and put pictures in it.

his b-day june 14th, planning to put a pink golf shirt (pink is an inside joke but i hope it looks good on him) in a mc.donalds take-out bag (i work there so i can get the bag easy) and get my best friend to sneak it into his locker. (we go to different schools)
then for his b-day party planning to either get hims a man tanktop + a dress shirt to match or get a bunch of friends and chip in to buy him a digi cam.

plus home-made cards.

a very special guy friend on mine is turning 16 really soon.
we've been talking for about a month and i can say that we like eachother, alot.

i didn't want to get him anything TOO seirous, because our friendship is all jokes and very laid back biggrin.gif
so, i wanted to get him some bright neon briefs smile.gif smile.gif is that too.. crazy.gif?
i also wanted to do that m&m idea, since he loves chocolate.
and i want to make him a hugeeee card with all of our inside jokes on it.
what do you think?

I need some suggestions for a gift for one of my best friends 18th birthday
Me and my two other friends are splitting and our budget it roughly $120-150..maybe a little more

-She doesn't need any more bags/wallets 'cause she already owns Coach and LV items
-She loves to party
-she's pretty much a girly girl
-She'll be dorming at college this fall...maybe something for the dorm? but what?
-she's pretty materialistic so throwing her a party/going out for dinner is out of the question

I'm really really stuck.

and your range seems ok, to get something really pretty for HER.

dorm wise, i'm not sure what you could get her though.

Maybe a makeup case? You can get her a Juicy or Coach one ..
Or for dorm.. bed sheets, pillows .. stuff like that

I think a 'mum package' might be fun. You compose bits and pieces.
Bake her a cake? buy some nice pj's? I think mum's like things made, but then anything from their kid they are pretty satisfied with.
A Hot- Air balloon ride? A caricature is awesome too. I think she would like that

Aww, that sounds sweet. Maybe I'll do that if I don't burn the stuff I make. lol.
...watch my mom end up being thankful but still yelling at me for making her something instead of studying..>__> lol.

it's my dad's 39th birthday, me and my brothers are still deciding what to give him.
and we saw this black long coat which looks like this :

and it costs around £31.30 , and i think it kind of suits him well.. not sure. :S
we were also thinking of giving him a Soothing Moisturizing Lotion which costs around : £27.77

i`m not sure what to give him since, when we asked him.. he didn't tell what he wanted in particular.
so.. i'm asking for your help. ;] .. any other opinions?

and also, i don't know what to give my cousin in her farewell party.. she's going to study in
the US .. so, what could you suggest?
i really don't know what to give her.. she's going to be there for like, 4 years straight.
so i want to give her something really special. smile.gif

- thanks. <3

i'd throw myself to the sea
if god promised that you're inside.
when i saw you, i fell in love,
and you smiled because you knew.

I need unique gift ideas for teachers and counselors who helped me with college stuff during my senior year.
I heard that they don't like receiving baked goods, mugs, etc because they ALWAYS get those things sleep.gif

Thank you! smile.gif

I know Father's Day isn't near, but I'd like to get a gift early.
For the past few years, I've just got him cards unsure.gif and this year, I want to do something different.
I can't go out and buy anything (because I can't drive, I have no money, I'm too young for a job)
so I was wondering if any of you had some nice things to make at home? (it can be a card, as long as it's creative or something)
Thank you :]
