From my experience chocolate is always appreciated, by everyone^^ (okay i work in a chocolate store so maybe my opinion doesn't count^^)
Well christmas is coming up and me and my bf is celebrating a late christmas at new years eve. We haven't been together for that long (sort of celebrating 1 month around there, not precise but kind of...) but I was thinking of getting him a mp3 or ipod and put just one song on it in advance. Because he always listen to music on his way to school (and falls asleep) and the song I was thinking of putting on the mp3 is a song that I fall asleep to all the time (plus it's very sweet). Am I exaggerating a bit or do you think I can get away with it? ^^

I think it's a sweet idea. Personally, I wouldn't spend too much money on a gift if it's only been one month. For me, it makes it seem like you're trying to one-up someone. I'd prefer to go for something smaller, preferably with more sentimental value.

Hahah my bf gave this to me for Valentine our first year. He had 3 sound thingys on it. One said "I LOVE YOU" in our language, the other hand was a song, on the foot was another one too. He dressed him in a Raider outfit; raider jacket, jeans and shoes.. When he gave it to me, he was dressed just like the bear =]

Chocolate sounds about right I guess... maybe i'll just buy a chocolate gift set at godiva or something..
An ipod seems a little bit much for just one month but since it's also for christmas, then it'll be ok. I think its a cute idea.

Food was the first thing that came into mind. Think of something that they will like. I'm sure anything will do. How about cutting up fruits and making a fruit platter? If you really don't know how to make anything, buy something. Sparkling Apple cider, a box of fruits (typical asian style gift), nuts...

i'm thinking of getting them something like..for couples..(example: couple t-shirts) but these are my parents, they're too old for couple t-shirts XD
my mother is a very practical person so i'm thinking getting her something she can use, and as for my dad, he pretty much doesn't care...
SO, what is something for a couple that is practical so they can use? i just thought of mugs..is that a good idea? does anyone have a better idea?

I also told her that I'm broke so I asked her if its okay if I didn't get her anything and she said "I guess". Obviously I'm planning on getting her something but "what" to get her is the problem....

At Built-A-Bear workshop probably for our 1 year, but
I was wondering if (since he's in the Marines) I should
Get him a decked out Marine bear or a girl bear
That resembles me.
I was wondering...Is it weird if you give a guy a bear that's a girl?
Haha, thanks

so i really want to get my boyfriend an engraved dog tag necklace for christmas but i'm on a bit of a budget. anyone know where i can get dog tag necklaces and engravings for a reasonable price?
also, while i'm asking for help, i will throw a suggestion out there for anyone who may like the idea. our one month is coming up this wednesday, and i'm gonna keep it simple but sweet. i have a few puzzle cards from korea where the puzzle is like a postcard so you can write a message on the back, break up the pieces, and have the person put it together and read the message on the back. there's also a smaller picture of the card on which you can also write the message on the back to be of assistance. not sure where you can specifically get the cards but you can always improvise and create a puzzle yourself. i'm gonna distribute the pieces and place them on his desk in each of his classes (which will require careful planning, talking to teachers, etc. haha) and by the end of the day he'll have the whole puzzle ready to be put together ^^

This year I'm planning to give that special someone something really sexy, elegant and sensuous for Christmas.. The words "Black", "Pink", "Red" and "Lace" come to mind.. Thus far, I've managed to narrow my choices down to three..

The last poster said the coupon still works even though it's past the expiration date.
Hope it works!
