I think that the current generations from '80 to now have had/will have quite a decent amount of computer exposure outside of work related activities simply due to the ever expanding use of computers in daily life so typing anything without looking at the keyboard should be/become relatively easy and a habit, without any classes.

huh i can pretty much type anything like that correctly (with the exception of the occasional mistake) as long as i place my fingers on home row first XD

i dunno about you guys but sometimes when i dont have a keyboard and i think about a word and try to spell it.. i can think about where the letters are on a keyboard xD but on a normal basis i always look down.

If you tell me to draw the keyboard out I wouldn't know how to. But its like my fingers automatically do type everything. I use to really struggle but I learned that it was better for me to not go back to home keys.

i can. honestly, i think it's a result of playing cs and other games..

but i don't type "correctly," as in i don't really follow grade school instructions of assigning certain keys to certain fingers and whatnot.
