Hmm are u going to write about a specific style of dance? Like jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop?
If so then u can start out with the history, how it evolved, what make it interesting. Example: style, music, and ect.

For aspect of choreography, u can write about how choreographer would choreograph that type of dancing style differently compare to other due to the fact that its this and its that.

I hope I helped u somehow =]

hmm for my dance history paper i wrote on the "2nd bests" in ballet like marie anne de camargo (to salle), fanny elssler (to talioni) and tamara karsavina (to pavlova)... so either of those i think would make an interesting topic, because they're often considered 2nd best for their modern-influenced style as opposed to the strict classical dancers...

or i just watched a slew of busby berkeley musicals so you can write on him... his kaleidoscopic choreography is always so hilariously extravagant but they look sensational on film... the guy the most popular hollywood choreographer-director ever and he never even took dance lessons...

no really do busby berkeley
you are not what you write on your signature...
you are not the picture on your avatar...
you are not your bloody post count...

I wrote a paper about dance in high school once... it was about modern dance. How it got started, why people wanted to break the classical ballet forms (like no shoes). What they were trying to express through dance. Ballet is very strict and only certain people can do it, but modern is different.. wayyyyy different. I think that's a good and very interesting topic. If you google it, you'll find a lot of history on how modern dance got started.

Also, if you like Asian dance. I've written papers and made presentations on traditional Chinese dance. Where it came from, how it evolved. The difference between Chinese classical and Chinese folk dance (basically Chinese royalty dance vs. Chinese peasant dance). It's pretty interesting stuff.

There're a lot of information on dance if you just google.
