During the battle, Xiao Yu asked that other girl whats going on... and that girl looked at Xiao Yu and said they were having a battle... arent other people not supposed to see her?

Yeah, the first time I watched it, I was also confused.
But after seeing it for the second time, I know why the girl was able to see her.
It's because everytime Lu Xiao Yu time-travels to the future, the first person she sees is the one that can see her. So that's why she counts the steps to the classroom. Normally, when she closes her eyes, counts the steps, walks to the classroom and opens her eyes... the first person she sees is Jay. But on that particular day, Jay wasn't there. Instead, she saw the girl, so it explains why the girl saw her that day.
Sorry if I confused you even more.. im not good in explaining. =O

Anywhoo.. this is one of the best movies I've seen. I love it.

2. she didn't know until she plays the notes from the secret manuscript that brings her to the future and she meets jay
3. rain is the main girl, lu xiaoyu

HOLY SMOKES! I just finished watching this movie few seconds ago and omg. it is damn good.

I wasn't exactly very near to the stage actually, around 5 steps to the front of the right side barricades. And I only reached there after work.

Why isn’t Xiao Yu dead when Xiao Lun went back?

Xiao Lun played the piano faster than Xiao Yu (because the building is currently being demolished) therefore, the period of time/ generation of which Jay arrived at is earlier, even earlier than when Xiao Yu found the “SECRET” score. This explains why Xiao Yu’s expression at the ending appears as if she did not recognize Xiao Lun.

Why didn’t Xiao Yu’s mother say Xiao Yu is dead?

Xiao Yu’s mother experienced a great trauma, sometimes her replies are based on her old memories, therefore sometimes her replies are weird, like how she said Xiao Yu is listening to music upstairs when Xiao Yu already died long ago.

Actually Xiao Yu died twenty years ago, but because Xiao Lun saw Xiao Yu before she died (when Xiao Lun went back), he changed Xiao Yu’s fate. This means, Xiao Yu did not recognize Xiao Lun anymore, whether their relationship continued/ how they progressed is left to the audience to imagine.

Why was Qing Yi able to see Xiao Yu at the piano competition?

Remember the flash back? Xiao Yu said that despite counting 108 steps, it wasn’t always successful, and she saw Qing Yi instead of Xiao Lun at a point. Yep. As for why Da Yong could see Xiao Yu, it is also the same reason. The first person Xiao Yu saw when she opened her eyes was Da Yong (yaknow the part where xiao yu cried cos she saw qy kissing xiao lun). The funny part here is when xiao yu hid herself… But I guess it’s a normal reaction.

4. he got to 1979, but those in 1999 will think that he is dead

i can't get that part. so, he didn't get hit by that big ball during the demolition, but he became dead in 1999 because the building and the piano is already demolished so he cannot comeback? and still, the people know him even after he traveled through time, right? ^^

waaa, this movie is so good! at first, when jay's dad was telling him who was xiao yu, i thought xiao yu was his mother! XD haahaha. oh my thoughts~ LMAO.

i saw this last night. it's a good movie and at first i thought it was gonna be another cliche, the whole love story with the girl with a disease and has a limited time to live and blah blah. but it's not. i was really impressed with Jay's piano skills when they did the battle. i didn't know he was that good. anyways, the ending was confusing a little bit. but it was still a good movie imo. and it made me cry

Saw this movie two days ago, there are two parts that is still in my head, cried when I saw the parts.

1) Jay's dad flipping the corner of her secret and sees his son's name.
2) " I am Xiao Yu" "I love you" "Do you love me", Jay's white-out runs out of ink and couldn't answer her question.
(His response was dotting a heart)

This is a sweet and emotional movie.
