the renamed title alone makes it sound sooo, downgrading of the movie.

"A Tale of Two Sisters" title makes the movie even greater. If you understand the full concept of the original movie, it just gives more depth and passion to the movie... and in a way, more sorrow to it. It is a story that leaves everyone thinking.

"The Uninvited" sounds so, laughable and pretty much gives away little bit.

hm well the original ahd to do with psychological horror,,which is what alot or korean horror films so i odn't know how well it'll do in america since american film are more for entertainment purpose and straight-forward horror

are they crediting this one to the original movie? coz i hate how they give vredit to japanese movies like grudge but when they remake korean ones,they dodn't even mention AT ALL that it's even based on some korean moive :T

i didn't really like the original film. it wasn't too scary, imo. but i hope this one will be better, although it's highly unlikely lol. XD remakes always... suck. =_=

judging by the trailer: they've changed the sister the film focuses on (from older to younger), changed the way the mother died, changed the stepmother quite a lot (in the original she's around when the mother's still alive, and that's kind of important to the plot). they've also added this whole subplot about "children trying to warn us" and finding out who the stepmother "really is" - in the original there's no real murder mystery kind of vibe, it's more of a drama than anything else. and I've heard they change the twist ending.

but it looks like they've kept most of the original scares, and some of the shots in the trailer look exactly the same as the original.
