Hey everyone! Im currently conducting a research and was hoping that some one you soompiers would participate and help me out here.
I'm pretty sure some of us in here besides going on soompi all the time spend time outdoors as well...specifically playing sports and stuff. So my question to you is do you think we should be allowed to claim the money we spend on physical activity as a tax deduction??? For example, i know how certain sports such as hockey, gymnastics, golf are some of the more mostly sports because of the expensive equipment/renting space to play at/etc thus some people argue that they should be able to claim it in their taxes and get some small amount back.
Im sure some of you guys here play some sort of sport and can hopefully leave a reply in here =)

Maybe for professional sports, once the kid goes professional it's okay for the goverment to sponsor them, but it's definitely parent's choice in making the investment, so no i don't think that the goverment would have to sponsor us in sports. we have a strong fan-base if the athlete needs support. Hockey was never goverment funded, still from the fans.
