well u see i have a brand new laptop with 1.88 GHZ duo processor with dual layer 8x DVD+R/RW and CD+R driver, but when i burn it on windows dvd maker it takes around over 3hrs just to burn a freaking movie or a small clip =/ is does anyone have same problem as me?

help will be appreciated thanks

I have a P4 2.4 GHz 768 RAM and a 16x DL DVD burner.

Depending on what I'm burning it'll take 10-50 minutes.

It must be the software itself. Since it's window's and vista, that must be the problem (I don't really know, just being sarcastic).

Anyways, use softwares like Nero or ConvertXToDVD. Since those companies focus ONLY on dvd media stuff, unlike windows which they try to do every single thing that exists in this world.

Maybe you have hidden spyware or malware stuff? Cuz once I switched to another antivirus, it detected a trojan. After I got it cleaned, my burner started to burn much faster! ^^

i highly doubt it bcuz i have firewall and antivirus...it's updated to the date and i found out that windows dvd maker is burning everything (including menus and background) ......SO IT'S SLOW TT___TT

but i will try to use other programs thanks guys
