First off, learn the basics: http://www.lissaexplains.com <--This site is terrific and great for easy understanding. Afterwards, you'll want to be a bit more advanced. I suggest you just go to various graphic sites and study their codes (note: STUDY, not steal). Along the way, you'll want to add some things to your website and you'll most likely learn PHP through various sites that have it.

I learned HTML and CSS just through the computer and it's particularly easy. ;D *never taken a class*
And there a lot of free blogging scripts & PHP that you can upload onto your computer such as CuteNews and Wordpress. But you won't get there until you learn A LOT from HTML and CSS. ;DD

Good luck! ^^

The previous post is excellent advice. I would recommend looking at other website sources and editing them to see what you could do. I don't mean steal, but just experiment to get a feel of how the code is written and develope an understanding of the fairly simple syntax. Umm.. CSS is also very useful and flexible when it comes to designing and adding style to your website. There are a few relitively cheap books that come in handy at Borders book store. They also carry a sort of "cheat sheet" that lists of plenty of different tags for a few bucks. And lastly, I would recommend starting good habits such as writing clean, organized code and using the comment tags to help mark certain spots! Hope this was helpful and if you have any questions, please ask

i have a website
www.wata-ame.net

Yea.. and lots of experience comes from looking at how other people make their website
like their source, but don't steal because your ip is logged

btw, freewebs don't host php besides they only offer 10mb (i think) but i started out with freewebs too lol
i think mine is still there.. yupp.. http://www.freewebs.com/bebedreams/ and http://www.freewebs.com/miyavidoll/ LOLOLOL

you can use haloscan.. http://haloscan.com/ but there's constant spam so i suggest you get a host
