plastic because it takes them longer to open the paper bags and it's easier to put away at home.
Ideally I'd like plastic w/the paper bag in it but that just takes twice as long.

I actually go to the grocery store quite often. We always say plastic. They're easier to carry, easier to store away... and we use them to throw our recyclables in until garbage pick-up day. ^^;
We use paper too, though, for cat food to be taken home, and then later when cleaning out kitty litter boxes for... yeah. mellow.gif

To be honest, I like plastic better, just for its ease of use and I think paper is too fragile if you're buying awhole bunch of stuff. I'm not saying I'm against paper, but when you're at the counter paying for your groceries...I'd rather just walk out holding a plastic bag full of stuff instead of carrying a paper bag.

Sorry I'm buzzed so I dunno what im talkin about

Plastic. More convenient for me, easy to carry and can be reused in a lot of ways.

^ What she said

I can carry alot when I use plastic bags.
I can't carry 3-4 bags at a time when I use paper bags.

It takes more fossil fuels to produce a paper bag than to create a plastic bag. rolleyes.gif

I choose paper because I can actually reuse it a few times before it rips. Plastic, on the other hand, usually only survives two uses.
