Which service?

From what I've read. Customer Service = still sucks (but that depends on who you get and what problem you're having) and the coverage service depends on your area.

Check reviews on CNET or other tech review websites. Also check their coverage area to see if it'll work well in your area. One of my friends uses Helio (he's from Cali, lives in Boston). I have no clue if it's good or not, but it must work decent enough for him to keep the phone & service here in Boston.

They use Sprint and Verizon Networks.

I've heard that Helio's customer service is crappy but is getting better since people are complaining. Other than that, the all in deals are hard to beat. Use this promotional code on the website "B2BYMOD" if you decide to get the Ocean. No activation fee, $75 off the phone, $15 off the first four months, and 1 month free TV Set.

^ I'm not sure so the sooner you use it the better haha.

BTW apparently Helio is charging users if they want to use youtube...

try waiting for a year or two -- by then, most of the glitches may be smoothed over.

i currently have a helio,
the looks of the phone are reallyyy nice!
but the connections service is really bad for me. sometimes, it just hangs up on the other person and i end up calling them again. i usually don't get service wherever i go.
just a few days ago, the screen inside my phone cracked. how? it was in my bag, and it just cracked. O_O;;;
maybe its just me? idk

I was thinking about getting a Helio too, mainly because I have a Verizon and if I go international, it probably won't work very well. Does a Helio use a sim card? So if I go to Vietnam, can I put a sim card in and use it?

^ Helio's phones are CDMA. CDMA = no sim card.

Anyways, I just got Helio a few days ago after being with Verizon for 4 years.
So far, I love it. The service is great in my area (with Verizon it always disconnected when I used it in my neighborhood). I've never been disconnected. Plus I love how the internet is very fast. And unlimited texting & internet? Who's going to hate that? Oh & it has Korean! I used to use Sky phones with Verizon cus I wanted to text in Korean, but since I have the Korean Ocean, no problem.

So basically, I LOVE it.

wow, i just looked at the plan for helio..and i love it
what sites do you use and how fast does it load? is it like the full internet pages you see on your computer, or just a dumbed down cell phone version?
can you use any messaging services like aim, msn?
