Which plan is the best? I'm leaning toward Verizon cos they have sexier phones, but I've heard T-mobile was pretty good too.

Anyone with Verizon? Which phone did you buy? I really want a good MP3 player, so I'm thinking of getting the LG chocolate with my plan.

verizon, cingular and t mobile let u use the nice phones. cingular and verizon have the best reception and you are able to use w-cdma (a telecommunication...protocol i think) with those two carriers, which is what fancy korean phones operate on. maybe u can get a Treo or the LG-9400

Don't get a Chocolate! I repeat Don't get one!

I have one right now, and it's not as good as it sounds.
``christyy. (:

I would get a Nokia with a Cingular plan, I like Nokia's better.

Verizon is reliable in my opinion. And I have it. Like where ever I go I say: HEY! I got like 2-3 bar here!

And my other friends with like Cingular or T-Mobile are like: WHAT!? I don't have anything =.='

So go for Verizon :]

Hmm... I've heard MANY complaints about the Choco phone so it's a no no. Plus i heard the battery dies HECKO fast

I've had T-mobile for 6-7 yrs now, very reliable.

But next time I might just switch to Verizon/Sprint for the company discount.

From my experience, T-mobile is great!

i currently have tmobile. it's pretty good :)
but my uncle has verizon; he says that it's the best plan
that he's ever been on (before he switched to verizion, he had tmobile)
i'd say you just go for what plan you want.
but if you want to drop the plan, i think it costs a hella bunch ><'
& i agree, verizon phones are sexy :D

Thanks for all your responses guys and gals. I live in NYC. I'm leaning towards Verizon coz I went to the T-mobile shop yesterday but was turned off by the outdated phones they have--darn it, hardly any with MP3 players!

I liked the chocolate simply bc they look awsome, but battery life is a concern for me, so if it goes out fast I don't know if I'll get it. I did see a sleek black samsung I liked. It was a flip up, and had alphabet keys as well numbered ones. I can't remember the name of it though. I'll look out for the LG 9400 someone else recommended.

Verizon doesn't carry many Nokia models. Also, I don't think they the ones they have many features. Nokia was my first phone; and I agree they are very sturdy.

I used to have T-mobile until I switched to Cingular.. Cingular does have better reception for me. I have way more service everywhere now than before, when I used T-mobile.
My parents were considering Verizon, but my friends who have Verizon don't get as much service as I do whereever they are.

it all depends on the location.
but around here, most ppl have verizon and cingular (now AT&T);
and i have verizon, the LGvx8500, the chocolate. the touch senstive keys gets on my nerves.

so it really depends on where you live.
IMO, t-mobile has the best looking phones, and verizon has the worst looking phones, but nowadays, verizon is getting better phones.

Check the coverage maps.

I have T-mobile and it's been great. Roaming or not roaming, I always have service unless I'm in the 2nd basement floor. After recently getting my SE K550, I usually get full bars in my area.

I would try out At&t, but there prices are, ehhh......not worth it and I don't care about rollover minutes.

Don't get T-mobile. That's what I have right now and I'm counting down the days until my contract is up. T-mobile's tech support is balls. I had a problem with the audio on my phone(s) going out and T-mobile did NOTHING to fix it for almost a year. Whenever I would call and complain they would just send me a new phone (I had 6 different phones) Wow. Thanks T-mobile.. that really solves the problem. Not..

Well it depends on what you want.
I think most phone service have the mobile to mobile deal so I say go with what most your family or friends have so you dont have to use soo much minutes?
I'm with T-mobile and like some say the service can suck.
Unless you like to travel around I say go with Verizon.
Oh and if you plan to buy those sky phones, majority of them work with Verizon smile.gif

I think it really depends where you live.
