I am one of the slow driver out there. If there's a 35mph limit, I drive 40mph; however, most of the cars on the same road pass me like crazy. I notice that many drivers drive more than 5mph over the speed limit. I can't afford to have a ticket so I will remain a slow driver. What about you?

I just follow the speed of traffic. I don't really pay attention to how much I'm going over unless there's a cop around...

In town/city, I follow the rules
I sometimes go over 5 mph if the road is empty. It's hard to follow the speed limit when there's no car in front of me.

On freeway, usually 10 mph over the speed limit, or just follow the speed of the traffic.

Usually follow speed of traffic... but I'd say 5-10 over, enough room for me to question the accuracy of the gun if I ever happen to get pulled over =/.

I usually drive 5mph more than the said speed limit. It's really hard to keep an exact speed limit. But when there's traffic, I usually follow the speed limit.

I used to drive 80 on the freeway (Speed limit 65) until I realized that I suck up so much gas that way.. (18mpg freeway yikes!)

Now I sorta peg leg it in the right lane, doing ~70 (~23-24 mpg freeway)

Around town it's about 5 over..unless I'm in a hurry

Im always on the look out for cops, but generally on the highway I go around 75-80. On the streets I never really go more than 10 above cuz Im paranoid someone will run into the streets. One time I was going way below the speed limit and some kids in my block ran out into the streets without even lookin for cars and I nearly hit them. Stupid kids.... thats why i drive slow on the streets :/

around the city i go around 5-10 miles over and on the freeway...it depends...usually i go around 85-90mph (65mph zone)

Since I know where all of the cops are on the main roads where I live I know when to slow down, but I go over the speed limit, city roads i go 10 over and freeways I go about 20-25 over.

Where I live you have to go that much more over otherwise you'll have right there next to the back bumper.

i usually go 40mph in the city. i get paranoid if i go over that. im afraid theres some cop around the corner. on the highway i got around 80mph, but im always on the lookout for the black and white cars..>_<

Flow of traffic is what I follow

Its nice when everyone else is going 85-90 so a cop has a less chance of pulling you over

10 mph over speed limit on streets, 80-90 mph freeway on autobahn-like freeways such as 280, but on 101 or more congested or cop patrolled freeways I drive 65-75 mph.

80-90mph on freeways (65mph speed limit) and usually 50-60mph on normal streets (assuming it's a 3-lane, 45mph zone). I always slow down when approaching cars so I rarely pass a car in an adjacent lane at more than 10mph over their speed.

i only speed on the freeway (actually its not THAT much of a speed usually like 80-90 no traffic)
i have yet to get caught on a california freeway

i tend to drive with the flow of traffic.
but i'm usually doing about 50-ish on normal streets and anywhere between 80-90 on the freeway.
i hate those people who drive EXTRA slow only because a cop is present.
