i've always had a thing against ruby ever since i saw her on huang zhu ge ge and qin shen shen yu mun mun >< and i always thought she looked like jolin tsai. But she looks nice here!

but her features are much nicer than Jolin... Jolin's only cute... Ruby is beautiful and pretty...

i really don't have a problem with her look, it's just her talent or maybe lack of talent. Her company, HY Brothers, has proclaimed since the beginning of 2007, that she will be the female star of the year in films, and so far every movie roles have been passed onto others. Last week HY Brothers just signed a new actress, forgot the name, but immediately she was snatched Ruby's role in an upcoming movie.

I'm sorry but she isn't movie material. her acting in TV dramas aren't great either. She plays pratically the same roles. i feel like she's very limited. All the rumors that she has a whole line of movies waiting for her, or that HY Brothers are going to make a movie especially for her, is a little silly don't you think? It takes million of dollars just to make a movie and they are going to make one especially for her, that's just really silly news from the HY Brothers. there was news that HY Brothers was not taking her literally when they hired her so that's why all of the movie roles and drama series have been going to others, and immediately to clear this rumor HY Brothers suddenly out of the blue said that Ruby has a whole entire line of dramas waiting for her to sign on. and here i thought she was doing movies.

all these tabloids in the news saying that she's the commercial queen because she has shot 10 commercials in a month is a load to crap literally. i think HY Brothers is cheating her off literally. i highly doubt that shooting a detergent commercial is going to boost her celebrity status when she's 31. so far, Ruby Lin has always been where she is, the commercialized actress who is capable of only drama series.

it's really pathetic how HY Brothers are promoting and representing her really, pretty embarrassing you have to admit. supposedly "glorifying" her to publically boost her image in China and yet contradicting this image by passing every possible good movie roles to everyone else and have her stuck doing commercials and dramas. but then commercials are not going to save her either. there are just too many actresses who, i have to admit, are a lot more appealing in commericals that she is, like Fan Bing Bing who snatched every big commercial deals so far and Ruby is left doing detergent commercials and for LHS (a not so famous brand).

hmm this is just my thought. u don't have to hate her to have an opinion about her.
