Halle Berry enters on the walk of fame

Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has been honoured with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

Berry's star is the 2,333rd on the prestigious walkway, which honours people who have made a significant contribution to the entertainment industry.

Honorary mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant said that he was "delighted" to award the spot on the Walk of Fame in recognition of her "tremendous achievements in the film industry".

It all seemed to be too much for Berry at her awards ceremony as she started to cry and apologised to the crowd for being an "emotional retard".

"I am so emotional….as soon as I saw the crowds of people and friends here, I started to cry. I am going to keep this speech short because I know you don't want another ten minute speech," she said, referring to her long and tearful address after winning an Oscar for best actress in 2002.

Berry has more than earned her right to be up there along with Hollywood's finest; as well as winning the best actress Oscar for her role in Monster's Ball she has both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the television movie Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.

she has hips that last for days!
anyways, she looks gorgeous as usual. the only thing is I prefer her with short hair.

but not exactly feeling the top part of the dress
and she has curves hehe

i agree, and i don't understand why she wears this kind of dress.... to be sexy? i think she don't need that..

she should have had her star years ago. but i'm glad she has one now!!! she deserves it
