Sleep i need sleep

so like since summer started, i started to sleep late and wake up late..
now i can't seem to sleep early because i wake up so late
i want to sleep early so that i can wake up earlier and have more time in my day.

so to the question.
what do you guys do, besides taking some kind of sleeping drug, to be able to sleep?
what is something i can do so that i can sleep and wake up earlier?

im having the same problem as you.
and my school is starting this monday. -.-
i think i need help too.
but my mom says drinking milk helps us to get to sleep.

i need sleep tooooo....
it's like... i sleep late and wake up early... insufficient sleep almost every single day

drink milk do help u to sleep... i always drink some warm milk before going to bed, and u really sleep better that way

I heard warm milk helps too, never tried it.
Ive been having the same problem, Since March, I can't seem to sleep before 3am, the last two week, can't sleep before 5am >.< and i've been waking up at 10ish each day.

Listening to music helps me feel tired, or watching a movie while lying in my bed. Once, I fell asleep by just listening to the radio through headphones... it continued to play until after 2 hours someone turned it off. haha. Different people have different methods, and mine obviously works for me.

I get like that too. Everytime it's the holidays, I can't sleep early and then wake up really late.

Listen to music, go to bed earlier and drink some warm milk. They helped me. smile.gif

omg i did that like, all beginning of summer!
but it's gotten better these day, because i started working out again. since i get to overworked when i dance and things, it makes me tired, which results in me going to bed early. =]

You need to calm both your body and brain down so some exercise and activities that don't require much thinking or stimulate the brain too much will help, definately not the internet!

Maybe some push ups or sit ups for exercise and reading or tv to rest your brain.

i've been through this before. basically what i did was to read books. my eyes got tired after reading for awhile and eventually it made me fall asleep. Other than that, try exercising so your body is tired and need some good sleep to relax.

i've been sleeping late too. i sleep when the sun comes up and sleep then. i do something really boring at night so i can try to sleep.

i'm having the same problem as you too
buddy. gosh i feel like sh*t all the time now...
Every summer I take like sleeping pills
cuz I end up having insomia. *sigh* I tried to
sleep earlier but it's really hard. My cousin told me
to exercise before I go to bed, but my doctor
told me that it would only increase my heart rate
making it harder for me to sleep. So iono anymore.
This kinda sucks. You should like do something
extremely boring so you could fall asleep without
even knowing it. ^^ like read a really boring
book.

Yeah, I need sleep. Actually not really it's different staying up late since my parents never let me, so I'm like hm interesting.

Last night I slept at 12 and woke up at 1 and hallucinated about fairies flying around me with water bottles, and I asked them for water but they flew away, I also hallucinated that one of my friends was near me and I was asking him to please bring me water but he said he couldn't because that's impossible because I am half asleep. Then I rolled around for a couple hours until it was light enough for me not to be afraid of the dark (4:30) and sat in the living room and stared at the wall for an hour before cooking breakfast.

Dead tired right now lol

reading a really boring text book works for me. i'm like opposite now since i've been on semester break i've slept at like 10ish and woken up at around 5ish. too early in the morning nothing to do o_O making myself sleep later now

All you have to do is pull an all nighter.
After that your sleeping schedule should be normal.

just get in bed on time 10ish pm and lie there until u sleep..
you'll get use to it ...

wake up early and dont sleep until 10ish
