When I was little, I got whipped on my behind! Then I got grounded which never fully work since my mom always cancel it off! Sometime my mom go crazy and see my things on the table then she throw them onto the ground or put them in the garbage! My dad hit me when I was little, but he never as crazy as my mom! MY MOM IS A BOMB! I bet you guys have it better than I do!

i guess I'm lucky cos my parents never punished me. I don't know what it's like being grounded and my parents never lay their hands on me. Just recently, I hit the bumper on my car. it was pretty bad and when I told my dad, he just went to have a look and said he'll get it fixed. he didn't even raise his voice. before that, i had few scratches on my car and my dad just told me to wait till i get few more before he get it painted again. i find it really weird that he's not mad at me. even my mom didn't care about it. i thought she would flip (since my car is not even a month old) but she just asked me few questions and that was it.

last time time i got punished.. it was for something really bad.
my parents didn't do anything.
worst yet, they even told me to come eat dinner.
imo, this is the worst type of punishment.

I was like you. When i was little, it was getting whipped or kneeling for endless hours. Now, if I do anything bad, it's usually a long lecture & a slap across the face. If my dad was just in a bad mood in general, he'd kick me out of the house. Literally. Last time, he chased me out of the house throwing shoes and random crap at me >< ...but my mom always lets me back in

I try not to do anything bad though....or at least, try not to get caught.

I never get punished, even if I do something wrong.

I don't know what it's like being grounded, and I don't really think Chinese parents ground their kids, or do they? LOL my friends, if they've done something wrong, they get grounded, pocket money is taken off, erm yeah xD

meh, I used to get grounded since I have American stepdad. I doubt my mom would even know what that was if it weren't for him.
It kind of didn't work out though. I don't really get punished now.. just yelled at sometimes. :x

She caned me when I was little. And then I'll have several lines on my ass and arms. (ouch )
Now, she's using words to punish me.
A few years back, my Dad slapped me. He only hits me when I'm really really bad.
Yeah, I guess my parents stop the whole hitting thing already.

i guess their punishment is the silent treatment... which is pretty awkward. i hate it >_<

Now they just scream their heads off.

my dad doesn't punish me.. My mom used to hit me when I was little, but heck when she hits me now I hit her back way harder, so yeah now she always cuts off the internet as a punishment, or will not buy the things for me she promised to buy me or will ignore me >_<..

now my dad just doesnt bother as much anymore with yelling and stuff because i tend to turn a deaf ear... lol...

My dad doesn't punish me. That's my moms job. My dads too nice.<3
My mom + menopause + me doing something stupid = HELL.
Anyways, she just starts screaming like mad & complaining about how hard it is to raise me.
And on some occasions, she starts crying. (Like when I spilled my rice on the floor.)
Then she goes into the kitchen, gets a chopstick, and starts beating me repeatedly. xD

Actually it's the other way 'round.
I punish them everyday.......... with my excistence that is.
