famous question from a famous story:

what do women want most?

1 sentence answer is all that's needed. note that the question says MOST, meaning only one thing! say it in one sentence smile.gif

i want to see how your answers compare to the answer given in the story.

QUOTE(-X- @ Oct 12 2007, 11:26 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Lets say you were going out with a guy that you can't see yourself with anyone else but him. The catch is that you know you can't truly make him happy. would you keep him HOPING you can make him happy in the future? Or will you let him go hoping someone else in the future will bring him happiness?

I wouldn't want to be with a guy if I didn't make him happy or I had no way of making him happy. Although, I can't see myself with anyone but him, it's one of those time where you can't be selfish. You're keeping onto something that's not there. So I would let him go.

QUOTE(steph3n @ Oct 12 2007, 09:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
when you like someone...do you tend to avoid him?
the girl i sorta like seems to be avoiding me...im only with her in one class and she missed 1.5 week already but i see her around school during the day, just not the chance to talk to her

arghh why am i asking this, ill ask her why is she skipping class next class...that is if she comes to class !

Do you know that she likes you though? If you do know that she likes you, then maybe it's just other things that may be going on with her that's causing her to miss class. I would like to say that she could be shy, but that doesn't explain her missing school. But if you don't know that she likes, she just could be avoiding you. To answer your question, I wouldn't avoid someone that I like. I would my best to try and talk to him more.

Hmm..I don't know how to fully explain this, but I'll try my best.My ex and I have started talking again after a really messy breakup. She's a year older than me and is in college while I'm still a high school senior. And so, she's been saying that she really wants me to go to her college next year and that it would be "fun" and awesome". And she also always seems to want me to visit her (it's only half an hour away). She says that she doesn't even know why she wants me to visit her, but the fact rests that she does.So one night, she said over a text message that she wanted to talk over the phone. "Just talk".So I called her, whatever. We ended up talking on the phone till 1:30 am, during which we talked about nothing in particular. She mentioned that I'm "never mean to her" and that I should try "being mean to her" sometimes, because "girls like it when guys are sometimes mean". Apparently, I'm too nice to her or something. I know that even though she has her best friends rooming with her in college, she still refers to me for a lot of help and problems as someone who she can trust. So what do you make of this? Does she like me again or something?
YAY! I read your post. LOL. I think she misses you & wants you back. But, no offence, I think she might just be 'lusting' for you. Well, to me that's what it sounds like. But maybe because I'm being stereotypical about college girls & their younger guys. happy.gif;; But sounds like, whatever her real intention is, she wants you back.

Aw, thanks you guys. Hm, well she randomly texts me tell me to visit her and such. But lately she seems to be really busy studying to talk to me too much, whenever she does, she seems to be happy talking to me. I don't know, she also says she's having trouble with guys and how she doesn't know what to do with them. Apparently some of her friends like her, but she doesn't want to pursue relationships with them or something because she's scared of the commitment. Meh, women are confusing.

Hmm in this case, I *think* she sees you as a friend whom she can trust.. and maybe because you are a guy, so she can seek advice from you about relationship problems.

Yeah, women are confusing lol. But it's not like guys aren't laugh.gif

Just a question in general for girl friends. They say they are fat, you tell them they are not. Is there any way to let them know they are not? because it never seems to sink in....

If they're just joking around, poke their "fat".

If not, I agree with the person above me. (But don't go to the extent where you're leading her on.)

i have an exbf who i REALLY liked but we were both bad in the relationship since it was our first so we broke up.. but i still liked him. we stopped talking for like 3 months then i saw him again since school started. we slowly talked again.. but now he likes this other chick, who is actually my friend... and also my other friend's ex. the guy i like doesnt like me anymore.. and i felt hurt but i guess i didnt want to interfere with their relationship. when he asked her out, he asked me again if i was OK with it, but i said i dont know. they are going to movies together and i guess.. im really upset..

was anyone in this sort of sitation? any advice?

How do you feel when you are being call "chick".
Example 1: "Look at that chick."
Example 2: "What's up pretty chick."
