That's so cute, and shows that you have patient... (for liking her 3 years) Did you ever give hints to her that you're interested? Sometimes.. well, alot of times, both parties are interested but both are afraid to show their interest because they're afraid of rejection. Who know, she might secretly like you too~ I can't promise you will succeed but if you don't try, you will def. fail So go ahead and try. Guys that goes for long-term is getting more and more rare now a days, thumbs up for you ^-^

As for birthday gift, it depends on personality, do you notice little things about her? Because color is too general to be able to find something to fit her. Is she a girly-girl, tomboy, or what? If you really want the present to be special, you need to take stuff like that into consideration. A gift can really show how much you care~ (I personally am very picky/perfectionist about giving gifts, I have to make sure it's something the person will like )

how long have you completely stopped talking to her? O____O hopefully not too long cuz she will be confused and think you are just playing with her mind. you should greet her the next time you see her...be like "hey how's it going?"...if she replies, than that is a good start.

is she hosting a party and has invited you? if so, give her what you think she will like. we cant help you with what to give her cuz we dunno about what she is interested in, etc. BUT i would luv if a guy give me one of the following: chocolates, flowers, bags, jewlery, tickets to some concert/shows, gift cards

if she's not hosting a party but has myspace or facebook, you can wish her to have a nice bday and let her know you would like to treat her to lunch sometime, for example.

Oh it was way last year when i tried to give up on her. But we kinda hang out in class together. Like sitting together and stuffs. Wow, you are a rare type of guy indeed. XD Well... There's no harm in trying to ask her out. If you ask her out and she says yes, then good for you! If she says no, at least you won't have any more what if's in your mind (like, "what if she liked me back?"). But if you never ask her out, then you'll never know the answer and you'll keep on waiting and waiting and waiting... >.<;; It took me 7 years to confess to the guy I liked. :x We didn't end up together, but we ended up closer friends after that. As for what to get her for her birthday... Is there anything in particular that she likes? Music, books, food, accessories, whatever? I bought test-tubes, gel and alphabet soup alphabet ( the kind you cook in soup o_o) then i'd fill the test-tube with the gel, use satay(Really long sticks if you don't know what satay means. It's a traditional malay/indian barbecued-meat-on-a-stick thing. It's called satay. So we call the really long sticks Satay. HAHA ) sticks and paste their name on the inside of the test-tube, then i'd cover the top with candle wax so the gel won't drip out. (: I made like 11 of those for my friend. It was a GOODLUCK FOR EXAMS thing-a-magick o-o Haha. But I'm just too lazy and tired to do anymore arts and crafts stuff. Lol. She loves listening to music o_o. She likes to read fictional romantic kind of stories. o_o.

Yup, it was a compliment. :P Sorry if it didn't sound like one... ^^;; But seriously, I'd be really flattered if someone felt that way about me. :) Wow, that test tube thingy sounds impressive. XD But it's okay if you don't feel like doing arts and crafts anymore since it's your personal choice, although the effort you'd put into it if you do it would be touching (well, I'd be touched if it were me ^^;;). Hmm. Music or books. Maybe you can ask her who her favorite artist/s is/are or who her favorite author is and if she collects CDs or books by them and if she's missing something in her collection, then you can get her that. ^^

I like a dose of both. I like sensitive guys that are outgoing and witty. Mainly because that's how I am, sensitive, but funny. And I most definitely like a guy that cooks. If he cooks dinner for me, then it'll pull me over.

here's my situation: about a month ago, my ex girlfriend's friend told me that my ex said "i love you" to another guy. since we were broken up at that time, it didn't really bother me that much (but i admit, i was still a little jealous). i'd said to her friend.. whatever let her be happy with that guy and i'll move on as well. at this point, my ex and i were still friends, we'd talk like normal friends, without any fighting, etc etc. we'd talk and talk like happy friends, and then... i started to love her again, and begin thinking about the great moments when we had when we were a really happy couple (probably the most happiest time period of my life). anyways, she told me (indirectly) that she still loves me and never loved anyone after we broke up. i was happy that she said she still loves me but... she just flat out lied to me. i remember she told another guy "i love you" so what she said about the "never loved anyone after we broke up" was a lie and that got me upset (oh and she did say she would get a rebound in the same message ... no clue why she would do that if she really did love me). i eventually stop talking to her (flat out ignored her.. yeah immature on my part). now as each day goes by, i'm getting paranoid and having the guilt overwhelm my mind for ignoring her. and she lied to me before (multiple times) and i've been cheated on more than 3 times in my past relationships, which lead to my insecurity issues and overreaction to this situation. so my question is, does she really love me or is she playing games with me? are you okay that your s/o would lie to you about saying "i love you" (or teasing of any kind) just to protect your feelings? i think she maybe lied because she probably know how i might have reacted. but i would be wayyyyyy more upset if she lied about it instead of telling the truth (because i didn't mind if she love anyone else since after we were not together anymore). and since i knew the truth, it's really hurting my heart that she lied ;. so are white lies okay in a relationship?

^The fundamental base of a relationship is trust and honesty. White lies are ONLY okay if it's sth like you s/o buys you sth, and you hate it but tell them you love it. Lying about your feelings, that's just low T_T. If you are pretty sure she lied to you, don't feel any regret. Move on, a girl like her ain't worth your time. Paranoia, and insecurity in a relationship destroys it.

oh and she may think she's doing you a favour, but you're only getting hurt in the long run.

It might be only because of his physical traits. Do you know him well, as in talk to him a lot?
haha, I think those 'symptoms' will subside once you talk to him.

Sometimes I get that feeling, sometimes I don't. :x I used to like this guy and he used to give me those feelings... Like he was the only person I could see and everyone else was blurred out or something. Haha. I think I was infatuated with him. x_x We never really talked, and I liked him from a distance because he seemed like my ideal guy (he was cute, smart, nice to everyone, etc.) But now I like this other guy, and I don't feel that way around him unless we're, like, really physically close (like when we're holding hands or sitting beside each other or something). But I know that I like him because seeing him makes my day, he makes me laugh with his sense of humor (and that's pretty hard to do because I have a weird sense of humor T_T), and when I feel bad, only talking to him would make me feel better. He makes me smile. He just makes me happy. And I'd be willing to do things to make him happy too. I get this warm feeling in my heart when I'm with him. Haha. Sounds mushy. -.-;; But it's true. =P (But I can't take my eyes off him when he's in the room, too. ^^;; )

Hmm... I fix my hair in the morning and between classes or when I go to the restroom or something. And I play with my hair when I'm bored or nervous. I play with my hair even though it's perfect because it's fun to fiddle with and it gives me something to do with my hands, especially when I'm nervous and start wringing my hands. T_T;; I also do it subconsciously in front of the guy I like. T_T;;

I personally don't give a mini cooper about my hair, because it's nice. However, I care about my skin a lot because I've had bad skin since I was little. Proactive and what not.
