oh no.. there's like full class of people... but whether i pack up fast or slow... there's this person who wait for me to pack up n leave.. then that person get up n leave... lol.. even if i sit there n just chill.. that person would sit there n chill..

the only time i cant pack up is when i gotta talk to my professor, then that person just leave...

sit behind her.. and see what happens..

what do you ladies think of a guy who acts like he's about to confess to you, says things like "I have something important to tell you..." then does all this tense build up to only say something totally unrelated to confessing, like, say, how he just finished eating the best-made Jell-O of his life...

jerk-off? prankster? douchebag of epic proportions? epic fail?

^ lol well if I actually like him, then I'd feel really disappointed/frustrated/ and cut.

If I dont, then I'd feel relieved and kinda hilarious. haha

But it depends how serious he was before the build up. If he actually led me to believe he liked me and purposely tried to get me to fall for him then I'd think he's a major douchebag.

So this question has been boggling me since I saw this on soompi.

Why do girls never make the move?
In addition to that, why do girls expect the guy to make the move, but also expect them to do it face-to-face, and also expect them to make it the best approach ever, and also everything that would make them want to say "yes".

LOL! girls watch too much soap operas? hahaha...what can we say? it's the influence of the media. =P

but to answer your question, girls expecting guys to make the move first is just one of those stereotypical things. no one likes to be rejected. but girls i guess are more sensitive and they just hold that stereotype that guys need to ask the girls out. (although there are some brave ladies out there who make the move first smile.gif)

no one wants to be asked out through aim, email, msn, phone, etc. asking a person out in person, face-to-face just shows that you have guts and that you're not a coward and that you really like the person. that's why girls like it face-to-face. =)

girls do go overboard with their relationship imagination, but we do know that it can't really happen (if it's too fairy-tale-like). i mean, it doesn't hurt to create our own imagination in our heads about how we want to be asked out. in the end, if a guy asks the girl out (and she's interested in him also) no matter how 'plain' and 'dull' the confession was, we still are flattered and content and happy and will most likely say yes. smile.gif we may say all these ridiculous and absurd things about how we want to be asked out, but seriously, deep down, it really doesn't matter...just as long as the guy really really likes the girl and asks her out (face-to-face) at a perfect timing, the girl will be happy. biggrin.gif
Heal my heart and make it clean. Open up my eyes to the things unseen. Show me how to love like you have loved me

because we want to be treated like princesses and get swept off our feet. some girls make the first move because either they're tired of waiting around for the guys to initiate, or they're just more aggressive by nature. but i think most girls like when guys make the first move (i.e. takes charge) because it seems manly and we like to be taken care of happy.gif

If you were a girl, why would you choose to dress like a boy and act more masculine instead of dressing like a girl? In other words, why would you intentionally try not to be pretty? It seems to defy my logic....

I did this for quite a while actually... dressing not exactly like a guy but not exactly with a ton of feminine panache either - partly b/c I grew up with 2 older brothers that I looked up too and played tons of sports with and partly because I don't have a reason to dress up. Even now for the most part I like to wear the same tshirt in different colors and grab a pair jeans and converse and I carry a small wallet in my hand; it just feels more natural. Clothes, hair, makeup, shoes, bags, jewelry make everyone attractive to the point where we become blinded and attached to someone based solely on their look. I don't want to waste time. My logic is : if a guy likes me he'll like me for who I am first and then I'll worry about dressing nicely for him. Plus if you don't dress up everyday you bring back some spontaneity, getting ready in the morning doesn't become a chore.

The only reason I would ever act like a guy is too turn a guy off or to show a guy that I'm not interested in him beyond being a friend.

insanity is when you do the same thing and expect different results.
some girls, however, cave in to constant acts of kindness... eventually
the question is... how do you know whether a girl will eventually surrender drenched in one's kindness,
or will someday pop open an umbrella and keep walking forward? smile.gif

Girls never make the first move?
Personally, I'm stuffed with pride in myself and any form of rejection really crushes my self confidence and pride. XD
But if the guy I really really liked to the extent where I felt I was going mad crazy for him and he wasn't doing anything,
I'd probably make the first move one day.
But as long as you like her and you know that she likes you,
the timing doesn't need to be right, neither does the approach.

she has dandruff and was trying to get all of it outta her hair.
lol jk but uh... i really don't know.
perhaps she likes you and is trying to play hard to get?
or maybe she looks at you because she heard some rumors about you and she's... disgusted?
i don't really know, to be honest, cause sometimes i stare at a random person for no reason at all.
so i guess it could be that too.
I know you'll count on the me from yesterday.

yeah same like SkeptiCal, I think she might be playing hard to get..
or hmmpf, I dunno but it could be that she can't be open about her feelings somehow..
like I know this girl, she likes this guy but she can't let others know, coz she'd feel embarrassed sleep.gif
I'd go straight to her and maybe just ask her "are you okay? I'm just worried you might get a stiff neck"... hahah JUST KIDDING, ok!
