She probably has low self-esteem? 0.o
I would give it a go if the feeling is right. But, for one thing, i want my partner to be older than me.

ya i was gonna say the low self-esteem thing.
if she was serious about that comment, then she's probably afraid of comments she might receive if you guys were actually dating.
ex: "ewww why is she with him? he could do so much better"
personally I wouldn't mind so much

I'd be like...why does he even want to date me?
He could get beter.
But only sometimes, like when he's dressed up or something.
Else, I'd be too busy thinking how about freaking hot he is...
I've heard that Ra is a fan of fondue parties.

Just the sentence I'm looking for. Well said, very well.
But really, if a guy with "better qualities" than me, I would be completely overprotective. Wouldn't that be close to ullzzang? Fangirls.

I mean if you are saying you are a lot hotter than i am... than i would second think it. I personally don't like my boyfriend looking better than i do. For one, they might be gay, second, i don't want it to be a constant battle for their attention. Oh man it's a power struggle.

And yeah, I'd date a guy like that but I'd be pretty insecure sometimes though, thinking he could do better than being with a plain girl like me.

give her a break, she has a low self esteem, =/
i guess i can understand where she's coming from,
i mean basically you're the better looking one.
i hope my spouse and i share the same qualities,
excluding our height/age, i want him to be taller...and older.

Ahahaha, winner!
But I digress..
I would be flattered. He must like me enough to ask me out, so why not?
But... I don't think it would last long. So no, I wouldn't.
This really good-looking and awesome guy kind of had a crush on me. Something about a good first impression.
I was probably seriously happy drunk off my ass when we first met, LOL
All my girlfriends turned kind of bummed/bitter because many of them liked him, and knew him longer than I did.
