Hey guys, I need a little help here... I am trying to decide on which digital camera to buy - I'm leaving on vacation on saturday morning, so I have to buy it on friday...I know this is short notice, but I'm at a loss as to which one to buy. I'm trying to keep the cost at $200 or less. Here are the ones I'm looking at:

Sony Cybershot DSC- W55
Sony Cybershot DSC-S650
Canon Powershot (no idea which is a good one thats not too bulky or expensive)

Thanks so much in advance!

I dunno about the other cameras but I have a Sony Cybershot DSC- W55. Everything about it is great. The only cons are that it is small, like the buttons are hard to press if you have large hands. And it doesn't zoom very far. It also didn't have a few modes my old casio camera settings had. Other than that, it's pretty, compact, and good-looking. smile.gif I would choose this one over the other sony you picked because it seemed to get better reviews.

I just googled Sony Cybershot DSC-S650, and it seems the screen is smaller by .5''.

As for Canon, I've heard nothing but good so you may wanna google which model interests you.

None of the Canon Powershots are bulky but they're also not cheap either.

if you have the money, you should totally get Canon Powershot 800IS. Its compact and great. My friend has one and I tried using it, and yeah, its good. Image stabilisation along with face detection, its worth the money

I heard Canon was really good with most of it's models. So just figure out what features and specs you want and find the right model for you biggrin.gif

However, I'm getting an Hewlett-Packet(HP) camera and its SWEEETT. The lady at the store who showed me a lot of the features let me test it out myself. (She had one of her own so it wasn't connected to any cord) And I used it and it was pretty easy to use. Theres this panorama view that lets u take 5 pictures side by side as if its one long picture and its soooo awesome. The features freaking rock. So if I could suggest, take a look at HP's camera's. To me, they're very underrated and shouldn't be. ^^
