I'm mostly just curious. I think if I found a Korean post punk / new wave band I'd be so freaking happy I'd cry.
Are there any? Sorry if it's been posted before ^^;

I don't think there's any new wave but there's a lot of stuff that falls under the post punk umbrella, mostly emo and various types of hardcore.

What are the names of Korean punk bands? I love punk rock, but not metal though.

There are dozens of punk bands in Korea. For straight-up punk I'd recommend Rux, Suck Stuff, and Captain Bootbois before all others, but the list is much larger.
Since this thread is about post-punk I'll stick with emo, screamo, etc.
Emo:
Same Old Story
Popstore
Screamo:
Hollow Jan (highly recommended)
49 Morphines
Old School Hardcore:
Samchung (although they've followed Vassline down the metal road)
13 Steps
New School Hardcore/Youth Crew:
Geeks
Things We Say
There's really nothing I can think of that you'd call new wave, although one of the foreign skinheads does a lot of DJing of that type of music.
